There is no reason to be proud of Margarito. He didn't fight like a warrior, and he didn't show respect in defeat like a man.
he didnt fight like a warrior? yea he only had to get by 1000+ punches and still hurt Williams and came on strong late in the fight.

i swear the posters in here r ****ing dumb.

Which is why I put him right behind them. This doesn't invalidate my rankings.
^True, which may be an indicator that the WW division is overrated also since there's only like 3 elite level fighters..

Warriors don't fight for 6 rounds, they fight all 12. And when that is your only strength you should probably use it. Margarito said he'd use his will to win and then fought like a vagina for the first 6 rounds.

r u blind? hes was working the body for the first half of the fight. or were u only watching williams punches land?

please go back and watch the fight. yea williams won but if hes such a threat then tony has nothing to be ashamed about. a lesser man would've folded last night. they r both warriors.

Don't bother Salva, the people here see what they want to see. Even though I had Williams winning easily based on workrate alone, by the time the fight was wrapped up I saw it the same way you did. Marg did do damage and for a minute there looked like he could've turned the fight around.

I saw him working the body. But I saw Williams have more talent, speed, skill and HEART last night. If Marg was such a warrior like he says he is, then he would've showed some heart. He didn't do **** in the 12th which is when he should've been busier than ever. He proved exactly what he was worth last night.

That's not a fair assessment of the 12th. Paul Williams came out for the 12th with some of that spark from the early rounds. He knew the fight was on the line and got back on the work rate. You do realize other up and coming stars would have folded in that position right?

nah he doesnt. as long as they get to bash tony it doesnt matter to them. if any other fighter was in there (aside from mayweather) today would've been tony's KO party. williams is for real and im a real fan which is y i can give props to both even tho im a huge margarito fan. these guys r ur everyday fans who dont know **** about boxing.

When I say he didn't do **** for the 1st 6 rounds, I don't mean he stood there and let Williams beat him up. He tried boxing but accomplished very little (thus, he didn't do ****). He landed some punches, but it was obvious that Williams won the first 6. Margarito chose to let Williams outwork him and easily take the first 6 and fight hard for only the last 6. And yes, if he was a warrior he would've dug deep and outworked Williams in the 12th. He proved he is no warrior.
