Oh, I saw the John fight,not on Youtube, a friend's dad fron John's country hooked it up w/ a clear copy of the video, unlike your Youtube viewing. I don't remember the "punch stats". All I know was John was landing the cleaner, effective punches, and surprisingly appeared quicker than JMM. So I based it on who landed the better punches and of course the cheap low blows by JMM. Thank God for good referrees.

Do you honestly think that judges in any fight have some type of punch counters, like they do in the Olympics?? I call it how I see it, just like the judges and not base my decision on "punch stats". Only a guy who rooted for a losing fighter, would use punch stats as his excuse or weapon as to why his fighter lost. Punch stats in pro fights show up after the fight has already taken place. Are you trying to say that you wait for the punch stats to show up on the screen and based your decision on who won and not what actually took place when you saw it for the first time????

So that's why he was landing 1/3 of the punches Marquez was while getting outworked and backed down literally every single round? the only rounds John won were the 4th where he put up a good flurry, and the 10th and 11th where JMM was penalized points for lowblows.......the first one wasn't even that bad and was on the belt line.

No, that's called a hometown decision. It happens when fighters travel overseas and it's happened to Winky Wright when he fought Harry Simon across the pond. Literally everyone who watched that fight scored it in favor of Marquez and instantly coined that a robbery....because that's what it was.

Once again, Marquez out landed, out threw, and landed at a higher connect percentage virtually the entire fight while John was backpeddling and doing a better job of ballet dancing than he was fighting. That wasn't even effective movement that's what you'd call flat out running.
