Your right Merchant was saying the same thing. That he changes up his punches some were hard, some where medium, and some were soft.

why is a 6'3 guy allowed to fight in the welter-weight division, no one is fulled by that bs size saying he's only 6'1. Theres no way in hell he was only 2 inches taller then Margarito, the guy looked like he was 4 or 5 inches. Thats ****ing ridiculous. And I had paul williams to win this fight if you view my old posts, but it's still bull**** that such a tall guy is allowed to fight at this weight. Hell, he doesn't even come to the fight at welter-weight, he comes in at more like a middle-weight/super-middle weight

Hey he made the weight when he had to and it's not his fault that he has such a huge size advantage over everybody.

He still shouldn't be allowed to fight at this weight class, not only is it an unfair advantage. But the guy could get seriously hurt when cotto ****s him up. 6'3 or not, is not healthy being that weight and height. The guy looks sick looking like he has cancer or some ****. It's bad for his health to be so thin. He looks anorexic.

Don't get me wrong. I think Cotto has a good chance of beating anybody right now at the welterweight divisons. But Williams is going to present a whole lot of problems for ANYBODY. If Cotto couldn't KO Zab by the 5th round, what makes these ******s think he could bust out Williams in the 5th? I want to see Cotto vs Williams happen. **** the Heavyweights, the fights I want to see are at 130 (Pac-Man vs JMM) through 168 (Kessler vs Calzahge). The welterweight divison is LOADED with matchups I want to see.

it's the name of the game...

the taller guy has to box and utilize the jab from the distance and periodically brawl inside...

the shorter guy has to get inside and work the body ...hooks and uppercuts...

a fighter should always know his role (strenghts and weakness) in a fight

plus like he said...the guy made weight...

I dont get this tommy hearns was the same size, hes not 6'3 and was it fair for diego corrales who was 5'11 to be fighting at 130 and 135 his whole career,
paul came in at 162 and margarito 157.

Williams does pity paty alot but his reach and stamina are riduclous. THen he will rip hard all of a sudden like he did against Margarito and cause serious damage. I said it before this kid is the real deal and takes hell of a punch. Cotto would have hell of a time and seeing how Williams would use his reach against the shorter Cotto might really have a hard time getting inside.

                      Thanks for your input Floyd.

How would he fair against you, and at what catch weight would you fight him?

I say you guys go at it at 130
