Yes he did, those wide looping punches barely shaved Williams and Margarito wasn't even there to fight, he showed no heart until the 11th round, faded in the 12th, then acted like a ***** when he lost.

Good riddance, and Williams/Cotto would be nice, but I pick Williams..

Now were gonna have those Paul Williams haters and discredit his performance. I agree he really didn't hurt Margarito, but he really didn't let up much the whole fight. I mean I thought for sure he was and was worried, but everytime you thought Marg had a good round and was turning the fight in his favor. Williams came back and controlled the fight. Like i've said in other posts Williams athletic ability and physical attributes were just too much for Margarito.

He stands in and trades punches with the self proclaimed "most ducked fighter on the face of the earth", wins the fight, and is gracious in victory, while Marge is Tampexed upped in his interview?

These PW haters aka Margarito lovers are really all just Floyd haters if you ask me. They hyped this skilless, slow fraud Margarito up so much when the guy never had a decent win on his resume. They ridiculously claimed that no one wanted to fight him because he was this "boogyman" who scared everyone out of signing contracts.

In comes this kid Paul Williams who dilligently calls Margarito out every chance he gets and beats him decisively....now I call that true OWNAGE. Now this Margarito was supposed to beat Floyd when he lost 7 straight rounds to Williams?? What a hype job, I hope this dispells his myth once and for all. I never liked the guy because him and his promoter Arum were always whining like babies. The guy even freaking loses fair and square and still is whining like a baby. Get out of here with that **** Margarito, go back into the dustbin of history where you came from, no more whining, it's time to let the true stars shine.

Cotto throws much straighter punches, and is just faster overall. He is also better at adjusting, and can dig to the body better than anyone.

Its a much different fight, but I'm not sure Cotto can overcome the height difference. Cotto is a short guy, probably the shortest contender/champion in the division. Winning this fight will be difficult.

That's why I think it will be a while until he fights Williams. Cotto is gonna go up against other guys in the division for now and honestly I don't blame him. The size of Williams alone makes it a very difficult fight for him.

Mannys specialty is taking tall fighters and turning them into jabbing machines with hydrogen bombs for right hands.
