It's a great fight to promote and apparently it's already in the work And that was coming straight from Bob Arum himself..
Cotto has bigger fisht to fry, nonetheless, I think Williams vs Cotto would be a great fight! Hard to pick there. For now, Williams should aim for CINTRON.

Can't blame Cotto for taking on Mosley. I wonder who's next for Paul.

I hope cotto fights shane then when pauls had some more big fights then challenge paul for both belts.
Im just wondering how long do you think paul will last at welter as he's massive and i'm sure it's only a matter of time before he cant make the weight and has to move up.

                Margarito vs Cotto next?
Top Rank CEO Bob Arum plans to meet with Team Margarito to discuss future plans which may include a fight with WBA welterweight champion Miguel Cotto. "I'm not going to abandon Antonio Margarito," said Arum after Margarito lost his WBO welterweight title in a close fight to Paul Williams on Saturday night in front of a soldout Southern California crowd. "I'm going to sit down next week with Sergio Diaz and Francisco Espinoza, his two managers, and discuss a possible Cotto fight."

Dunno how likely that is...but Williams could fight Mosley in the meantime, which seems like a hell of a fight to me. For whatever reason, a Margarito-Cotto fight appeals more to me than a Williams-Cotto fight, even after last night. Maybe its the whole Mexican Puerto Rican rivalry...they always rise to the occasion against each other. Also Margarito hits harder than Williams, it seems more likely they would sit there trading huge shots for the fight.

Although honestly, any combination of the top Welterweights excites the hell out of me, haha.
