Excellent first test for Paul Williams. Margarito is no walk in the park

This was a great first test as crazy as that sounds. A first test, lol. He showed he has iron in his chin and a huge will to win. Margarito is one of the few WW that could compete with Williams punch output. Who the hell has a chance at outpunching him, muchless beating him?

Mayweather and Mosely would be formidable. Paul showed tonight that he doesn't like body shots. His defense is very much his offense like its been said. His response to everything Margarito did was to keep up the punch output, so like this fight that could be the difference in fights with those two and he wins anyway. Would still like to see him mix it up, sit down on it and use that long jab as a weapon sometimes (ala Wlad) instead of as a scoring machine all night.

that's what I'm saying, I think with time and more experience he will start to utilize his jab in that manner, that's why I was thinking it would be good for him to train with someone to teach him how to "box" instead of jab jab jab power shot, jab jab jab power shot repeat, and like Steward was saying when he hits you with that power shot you can tell he's not squeezing his fist all the way on some of his punches

Margarito is a good WW nothing more nothing less Good power and Chin so i gotta give something he is not a champion for no reason but the problem ever since Arum opened up to hypen Margarito many guys in BS are talking **** about Mayweather ducking him and most feared man and stuff like that. I not hater but Margarito is a person who hold a title for awhile and loose it after a couple of defense. He is a good test for prospects and contenders but not the elite fighter thing.

Margarito should be fighting Luis Callazo,Suerz or Estrda. I know Carlos Qunintant is going to win him and Berto too as well as Cotto and Cintron

I dont think so.

Apart from Mayweather,Mosley and Cotto I dont see anyone beating Margarito, only those 3 guys would beat him but he could everyone else.
