        Please retire arturo....

i found it hard to carry on watching that after a few rounds, hopefully gatti will now realise that he has nothing left and retire. unfortunately i think it's too late, alot of damage has already been done. If Gatti refuses to retire then he should have his licence revoked.

I'm disgusted with myself for putting "LMAO" at the beginning of the thread.

Vers, you're right. It was just a textbook right hand. Nothing all that special.

There was nothing funny about this fight; Gomez dominated from round 1 and thoroughly destroyed Gatti in brutal fashion.

Gomez does a Floyd Mayweather Jr. feat! KO's Gatti!

Was it a given? Nice to see the type of opponent Floyd Jr. normally faces to get his belts. I think Gomez should be #1 P4P now.

Alfonso Gomez Easily Stops Arturo Gatti

The fans have likely seen the last of the fighter known as the human highlight reel. Contender star Alfonso Gomez (17-3-2, 9 KOs) dominated Arturo "Thunder" Gatti (40-9, 31 KOs) on route to a seventh round knockout before thousands of Gatti fans at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
