I am Much more sure now..
I think the majority of people are picking Williams to win because of one of the following reasons....

Reason A.) Margarito haters are just waiting for someone to "expose" him.

Reason B.) Williams is getting so much noise around here, that those who know nothing about him are going with the hype.

Margarito, while not particularly "thrilling" has the style and determination to get the victory. After the fight, I look for Margarito's haters to diminish his accomplishment by stating Williams was overhyped.

Hah it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

I promise that it's a make or break scenario.......the same people who dog Margarito will say Williams is easily P4P material if he wins..........and if he loses they'll instantly talk about how he's green.

Hold on if Paul Williams wins, no way in hell is he P4P #1. He's not even top 5.

Whoever wins tonight I will consider #4 in the top welterweights along with Mosley, Floyd, and Cotto.

Margarito better look great tonight the way some of his fans been talking.

            Actually.

I think it's about Williams looking good from all the hype I've been reading. I've seen him fight twice.....once against a nobody argentinian and once against a washed up/blown up/ bum knee having Mitchell.

So I'd have to see how good he does against a real fighter.

Bunch of glass jawed mother****ers strutting around pretending to be warriors! Makes me sick!

I've dogged on Margarito in the past as well but I've dogged on every fighter from time to time, including my favorites. I'm looking for Margarito to win and do so in convincing fashion. While it is impossible for him to win over all of his nay-sayers in one fight, he will win over a lot of people if he's able to impress the audience. Because no matter how you chalk it up, williams is an undefeated, dangerous opponet with serious reach.

Those of us smart enough to understand that will also be the ones patting him on the back after the fight. As for the rest of them, who cares? They know nothing of the sport in general and only flock here to proclaim themselves a member of a particular fighter's "online posse".

I think we all can agree whoever wins tonight deserves a shot at Cotto, Mosley or Floyd(if he doesn't go after Hatton).

Yeah, they have that fight lined up (doesn't hurt that they are both under Arum).

BTW, I'm not a Margarito hater just see more ways of Williams winning this than I see for Margarito.
