    Last Minute Bet

Tonight's fight between Antonio Margarito and Paul Williams has pretty much been a "pick 'em" fight before it was even announced. Williams' reach advantage and insane speed may just be the proper tools to dominate Margarito. Margarito's power and unrelenting aggression may just be the proper tools to thwart Williams' gameplan.

So the time has come to put up or shut up, and I'm going to do just that. I'm placing 10K on Margarito to defeat Williams tonight. It's not one of the most comfortable bets I've ever placed because honestly I think both guys have equal chances at winning. However I've only seen Williams fight twice and I think he may be a bit overhyped, so I'm betting against him.

Not the most confident bet I'ver ever made, but I'll await a taker. Put it in your sig to make it official. And let's hope for an entertaining fight.

My case is simply not having seen enough of Williams to make an assured bet. I've heard a lot of talk about the guy and he seems to have quite the following here but again, I think he's a bit overhyped. Kinda like Vic Darchinyan a few weeks ago. Either way I can't lose on this bet because...

A.) Bets always lend a bit of drama to any fight.

B.) If Margarito wins I get another 10K.

c.) Even if Margarito loses, 10K is a small price to pay to see Williams emerge as a superstar.

I really don't care who wins, I just want to be entertained and I think we'll all be in for a treat. I'm pretty excited about this fight. If Williams comes out in big fashion he will completely win me over and if Margarito does the same, it will put to rest my critique of the man over the last year or more.

I was thinking more along the lines of Willams being overhyped... But I just saw my first Margarito fights the other day.. And I am sure now he is going to hurt Willams.. Sadly I only bet 3k on the fight.. becasue at the time I knew nothing about margarito and Just figured because Willams seemed so over hyped to me.. and from what i heard about margarito I figured he was in for an exposing.. I am Much more sure now..

Yeah same, I have 10k on Tony to beat Williams if anyone wants that.
