I think Jim is the best today. His enthusiasm for the sport and his professionalism shines through loud and clear.

The commentators in the past sounded kinda robotic or machine like, no disrespect.

Cossell is also a legend in this generation.

Howard Cossell! He also did thoroughbred race horses! when I was a kid there was this horse named "Affirmed" (tripple crown winner) and just like Cossell would say "Mo-hamed A-li", when he spoke, his voice would make a slight pause in between words.....

"Down-the-back stretch comes A-ffirmed"!

I loved the way Hagler-Hearns was called. Also Castillo-Corrales 1. It was really nice to witness those two battles with someone knowledgeable "on the mic".
