Cotto is just way too small for DLH at this point. But I still haven't seen any evidence that they will fight at all. Where is the proof for this? I am not convinced at all. But DLH needs to fight earlier than May 2008. Even then I still favor him.

If its at welterweight,im gna have to go for Cotto TKO by a bodyshot,DLH would be a bit drained, and he got hurt 2 times against Floyd because he made mistakes,i remember a body shot made him wince,if its at Light middle,DLH TKO

Please. DLH was never hurt by Floyd. He was never close to being stopped either. When you get hit, sometimes you wince. That's boxing. Saying would Cotto would do based on the Floyd fight is wrong, because Cotto gets hit WAY easier than Floyd does.

And Oscar has beaten punchers as strong as Cotto before as well.

Its the fact that cotto wont be able to bully dlh. DLH has the size and the sharp punches to hurt cotto.. no disrespect to cotto. but I say oscar KO's him.. if he can avoid the low blows...

If oscar can come out and not stop shooting his jab. I think his reach advantage will stop cottos body attack, this might just discourage Cotto a bit, and cotto is always open for a left hook. Witch oscar has a great one. And also remember zab only had an inch or half inch hight advantage, oscar might have more than that and will fight tall.

After 4 rounds of jabs, a couple headbutts, a few cuts, and some knockdowns I see oscar winning by tko round 6 7

I don't know, how could people think that "this" Oscar De La Hoya is the same Oscar that fought Ike Quartey, or even Vargas. Don't get me wrong, DLH can still ****. But his intensity level has drop dramaticly, and to fight a hard hitting fighter almost 10 years younger??!!!!! I think people are envisioning a carbon copy of Trinidad/Hopkins. Should De La Hoya "NOT" stop Miguel Cotto going into the 7th round...he will definately have fits trying to keep Cotto off him.

If Oscar wins, it's by early KO, which I don't see happening.

Like I said .. Why Not credit Torres and Judah for having the Power and in Judahs case the Power and Speed to do That to someone Instead of discrediting a fighter as having a weak Chin?.. Doesn't it make sense that when you consider how many times a boxer gets hit throughout his career.. That few of those punches might just land right on the money????

What about all the punches he has taken that DIDN'T wobble him???

                Why so negative MAN? Issues???

I picked Oscar by KO based on his finisher skills and Cotto being hurt by Judah, Torres and CORLEY.

But I did not think about Cotto's bodywork. Hmmm if it goes late maybe Cotto
