Should the Haters and Spammers be Banned From NSB?

What I don't like is that haters give Floyd too much attention. Floyd hasn't said anything for a week or 2 but in the day there are at least 4 or 5 threads on him. And its mostly not his fans posting the threads. The haters make more threads on Floyd than I do. If you dislike someone a lot why do u constantly keep bringing their name up. Obviously u care about him enough to talk about him and all your doing is making him even more popular. I don't get it. I don't like Margarito but I don't post nonsense on him.Comment

I agree.
Banning should be done only in cases where someone calls someone rascist terms or he curses like gung-ho.
Esacalations are part of arguments and those who whine and cry mama (mostly from the ****** Fake Floyd fans), well there is no cure for ******ity and lack of brains that's why they resort to insults, denials, excuses. And if it doesn't work, they go home to mama crying foul and shouting "ban him".
Of course it's pathetic. But that's what they are.
Banning should only be done sparingly and only against the most illogical and inconsistent posters. Not for those crybabies who we have tons here.Comment

He himself admitted that.
So until all Fake Floyd fans come to terms that he is a fake who opens his mouth like a punk then runs like a coward, you better keep your excuses and denials with you, lest you resort to cry mama's and ban him tactics.
Of course it's pathetic.Comment

Exactly. The guy who started this thread could be dubbed a "hater" or "spammer" for many of the posts of his that I've observed...

No, I've never filled this board with repeated threads and posts designed to discredit fighters and anger their fans. I have made hundreds of posts defending fighters against undeserved abuse and negativity.
There are a few people who enjoy baiting Hatton fans and Mayweather fans, and create threads for that purpose - and sometimes it's gone too far, especially in the case of !! SiN. Some of this is to be expected, but too much of it ruins the quality of the discussions here. After a certain point, when it's repeated too many times, the hate become spam.
And such spammers usually resort to name calling ("******", "****wit") when you defend the fighter they're hating on, and that further reduces the dicussion to a very childish level.Last edited by Steelhammer86; 07-13-2007, 06:48 AM.Comment

Freedom of speech is still a human right, so to ban haters would be like enforcing something we don't have any right to do.
Spam is an entirely different matter.
I think people who can't argue with logic, and goes after other poster's throat with "you're a ****wit"-kiond of things should be banned.
I'm not discussing boxing just to get peppered with childish name-calling.Comment

So far, 24 of 29 people have voted for some kind of ban, and most of them chose a temporary ban...interesting result.Comment
