Should the Haters and Spammers be Banned From NSB?

Posters who simply dislike fighters shouldn't be banned, but those who constantly post abusive/provocative threads about the same fighter should be.

You yourself can be just as bad with the spamming, but you do it with posts.

Because I don't like boring fights like floyd you compare me to sin... Wow, atleast I don't make a million topics on why ricky hatton sucks, which sin does. You're probably just a Sin alt account.

There has been a lot of angry words exchanged recently in the Non Stop Boxing forum. There seems to be a continuous war going on between people who discredit certain fighters and those who defend them. This war has distracted from intelligent boxing discussions and it has probably caused some people to leave and go to other websites.

Should some of the worst haters be banned from boxingscene?

Intelligent boxing discussion is very rare here. Mostly it's prepubescent schoolyard babble about who could beat up who, and a how much they hate someone, and how horrid the heavyweight division has become now that American blacks have been kicked the **** out of it.

I've been trying to 'police' this forum for awhile now but posters more often than not get mad at me for doing so. The biggest problem I have is with posters who spam constantly. Spamming on NSB consists of:

1. Creating duplicate threads about the same topic over and over again; I must have counted at least 20+ "Hatton is a hugger" threads in the past month and probably 100+ "Wlad Klitschko" threads since his win over Brewster. Here's a suggestion: USE THE ****IN SEARCH FUNCTION to look for similar threads before creating another one.

2. Creating 'non-boxing' threads that have nothing to do with boxing and belong the the lounge.

3. Creating useless spam threads for obscure observations or questions that could be answered on existing threads. Example: "Did anyone see Mike Tyson in the audience during the Ibragimov fight?"

My suggestion to clean up this forum would be to have mod who warns people once or twice and then bans them for a short period of time....

Spammers annoy the **** outa me and many others on this forum, that's why we're trying to bring about a diplomatic resolution...

Some members complaining of spammers often spam themselves. Its very easy to back out of a thread you don't agree with or if you don't like the poster.

Well, so far the majority of people have voted there should be a ban...either permanent or temporary. I think a one month ban would be the best idea...

And to the original question, spammers probably, haters, no. If you are going to ban all the haters you have to ban all the people who nuthug. Not talking about fans, but people who act like their boxer is God's gift to boxing, that he is the best boxer to ever live. Anytime anybody says anything bad about them you get ****ted on, even though you make a valid point.
