A lot of things could change in during this long period and why would you want to commit yourself in the case that other better opportunities arise. Also, is Cotto going to fight in the interim? And what if a ‘super fight’ between him(Cotto) and Floyd presents itself? Plus, is DLH even relevant these days?...

10 months is a long time. Oscar better have tune up in December or January, that's his real problem in recent years is his match fitness, you need to fight a 2 to 3 times a year to stay sharp at that age. Sorry Ocsar, I would like to see Cotto kick your ass as well.

I agree with you on that. Oscar has too much going on with his business ventures and what not. Its not doing him any good by fighting once a year. He just needs to retire because his full focus is not on fighting anymore. I still think Oscar would win this fight because Cotto will be more willing to engage and leave hisself open for the left hook.
