    Meet

    Ross Purity: W 30 (27 ko's) | L 20 | D 3 | Total 53
    http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=005622

Klitschko has a weak chin! And Haye is tall enough. You can at least say it CAN happen. If Ross Purity KOed Wladimir, i think Haye has a chance. You can improve many things over the years. Your chin is not one of them.

That has to be the worst comparison I've ever read. First off Bowe was a tailor made sparring partner of Holyfield's, and that's the only reason people even saw fit to make that fight happen. It was supposed to be a glorified sparring session where evander destroyed him, but it didn't turn out that way because Bowe was more familiar with Evander than people expected.

I don't see how you can compare a Warrior with that level of heart and that solid of a chin to a guy who was blasted by Carl "The Cat" Thompson. Haye is nothing special and when he steps it up against a real heavyweight he's going to be knocked out cold.

Also you can't compare an overweight, out of shape, overrated Rid**** Bowe to a pedigreed Olympic Gold Medalist Boxer who has established himself as the best fighter in the division and shown glimpses of almost greatness at points.

      Holyfield > Haye

      Wlad > Bowe
Just making the point that Haye is no more a blown up cruiserweight than Holyfield was. Obviously the achievement and talents are not in tandem with each other but both were/are fighters who had the physical attributes to compete at the higher weight, therefore not 'blown-up'. I don't believe the result of a Haye/Klitschko fight would be the same as the second Bowe Holyfield fight, just that Haye wouldn't be sparked so easily as many are saying.

YOu are giving Haye too much credit, kid WILL get KO'd once Wlad finds the range(and it will be relatively easy) and using Purity as an example shows how much you know, Purity was not really ever ko'd prior to Wlad's fight(unless you count the losses in the beginning of his career and even then they were not real kos)Purity had chin that Haye or any other HW can only wish for.

Yeah I see your reasoning now, and it's valid.

I just couldn't draw a connection because by the time Holyfield moved up he had already established himself as the best Cruiserweight and there really was nowhere else for him to go....except move up in weight and look for the bigger money fights. Haye seems to be in limbo in that regard, he hasn't been in a real money fight yet.

Have you ever seen that fight?

Wlad was whipping his ass until he ran out of gas and started collapsing all over the ring by himself. Sdudnek jumped in and threw the towel because Wlad couldn't even hold his arms up.

That was Wlad running out of gas, not him getting "K.O.'d".

Haye is very much an unknown outside of the UK, that's a good thing, i say let him build up his HW credentials to see if is capable of competing with the likes if Wlad, I hope he can but it'll be interesting to see if he really has what it takes.

just like wlad with brew and purrity. sanders is the only guy that truley knocked him out and wlad is a much more complete fighter today

Yeah he did gas out. But he was absorbing a lot of punishment.

That's the sort of experience that comes with inexperience, I doubt both fighters would allow that situation to arise again and it can only help them.
