Huge risk, very low reward

Corrie has a granite chin and very fast hands, sooner or later, he will tag Wlad and this could mean trouble.

Corrie may just have Wlad's #.

Corrie clearly caught Wlad, while Wlad's losses to Purity and Brewster came by a way of exhaustion / poisoning

I wouldn't mind seeing him against Valuev. I mean that might be the first time Wlad faced somebody bigger than him, but there could be a risk there. I just would like to see that big giant go down. It would be like a tree falling.

The only fight that matters is Wlad vs. The Chag-Ibra winner; screw the belts. THAT fight is fir the real title. In the meanwimte, Klit should fight Holy and get his Q rating up.

i think ibrag and chagaev are fighting each other cause they dont want to fight klitschko... sultan could have surely waited one whole month after his victory for wlad to win and call him out to unify for a ****load more money than chagaev offers...

also this touches on another possible angle.... should the chagaev/ibrag winner be stripped of one belt or the other for some bogus reason it would open the door for evander to fight for the vacant title. a good reason for holy to avoid fighting wlad for the moment

I Think Valuev already has a fight scheduled.

I don't think that at this point of his career, Valuev wants to suffer two losses in a row.

Honestly, I have no interest. I don't think Corrie Sanders would ever win that fight again if they fought a billion times. Sanders was never a good fighter and he's 41 now. I know he destroyed Wlad in the first fight, but one punch can do that. Now Wlad just wouldn't get hit by it so easily.

I've gotten to a point where I don't give a **** whether the titles are unified or not. ****wits like Don King (someone ought to shoot that ****sucker) are going to do their best to keep it from happening unless they have a fighter with a good chance of being the one to do it. I'd actually like to see ALL current sanctioning bodies disolved, or just completely ignored (even better), and an true international boxing commission formed to both protect fighters, fans, and the sport itself.

Maybe...or maybe they're trying to raise their value in the market. As it stands, Klit can name the price; two belts at least brings some question of closer-to-parrity to the table. Chagaev has shown himself to be willing to fight anyone.

1. corrie sanders is a fat, old, golfer who boxes part time. why bother?

2. wlad's not going to get any unification done in '07. WBA and WBO champs ibragimov and chagaev are slated to fight in october, and WBC champ maskaev is fighting peter and the winner will fight vitali. the WBC thing will take at least 9 months to a whole year to take course.

the earliest wlad can hope for a unification (with the WBA/WBO titles) is probly spring of '08.
