    ggguuuhhhhhh.....*rubs eyes*

God, that card was too technical. Sure there was fight, but no heart. Like watching robots.

The only thing excusable was Nog's cage shock.

I would like to point out though that Sherk took three knees and a nice upkick square flush on the jaw.

UFC is not a hugfest..its a HUMPfest..it was better when UFC first started out..strictly stand up fighting, not wrestling

I wish I knew how to make those Gifs. I'd make one of sherk when he was pulling out his leg while on the ground to get in full guard, it looked like he was humping his opponent.

I find that when theres going to be an apparent mismatch, the fight is usually very competitive and exciting and theres the live possiblility of a big upset at any moment.

But the evenly matched matchups seems to turn into standstill fights or rolly polly type fights...
In this respect, UFC and boxing share this: 'styles make fights'. The Nog, Silva, and Sherk fights had plenty of action. The Ortiz-Rashad fight was what happens alot when 2 good wrestlers are matched.

Actually, Sherk was trying to PASS the guard and get into the mount position. Since you have no idea what the positions are even called, its no shock the ground game bores you.

If you hate ground work so much, why do you even watch the damn fights in the first place?

Cause its free, that **** was garbage. The sherk fight was nothing more than a muscle head on top of another guy for 5 boring rounds. Of course it takes skills for this guys to do what they do, but its painful to watch.

Free, so what? I hate golf, I think it's a boring 'sport'. Even though it's on alot and it's free, I don't watch it, and I sure don't watch it then go ***** about how boring it was.

Your right in that it takes skill, but so does golf, and I don't watch it cause it bores me.

Are you comparing MMA to golf? Golf is a very dramatic and suspense filled sport...
