regardless whos the best, whos your favourite boxer ever?

not worth doin a poll cos there'll be so many answers but who's your favourite boxer, not who you think is the best, but who do you like the most and why?

mines ricky hatton - great fighter, courageous and also a workin class lad from 40 miles down the road who remained the same down to earth person when he became a star and hes a funny little **** too

frank bruno, mickey ward, barry mcguigan come next

Wladimir Klitschko. Because of seeing Wlad in the Olympics and later as a pro, I became a serious boxing fan. Boxing needed a great heavyweight like him to come along and he did...

            Hold on a minute.

Wlad is one of my favorite fighters man, and always been. But the HW division had Lennox Lewis, and wasn't in need of Wlad.

end of story. Lennox was a greater fighter than him hands down.

              true

apart from marciano, lennox is the only HW champ to retire without a single unavenged defeat

Lewis was getting close to retirement when Wlad arrived as the WBO champ, and was retired when Wlad won the IBF title...although their careers overlap, Wlad has really hit his prime since Lewis retired. He's filled the void caused by Lennox's departure...

Fluent in hebrew, spoke perfect yiddish. Stayed true to his freinds, went broke giving them money. advocated against drugs, war hero, ran guns to israel, ... makes me proud to be yiddishe and a true warrior in and out of the ring.
