No its not the fans have to pay the bill, the more you think like that, the higher the PPV costs will be and the higher ticket prices will be to, thats whats ruining boxing. Average fight fans get hurt by this, who the **** wants to see Paris Hilton in the front row, most celebs arn't boxing fans they just go to say "i was there". Fights should be in a **** off big stadium with cheaper tickets and should be on mainsteam television and get the money from advertising.Comment

Dude, we're not payin this price for every fight this was the biggest fight of all time. Do you expect every fight to be for free? More fights like this may make the major networks (ABC, NBC, CBS) take notice and maybe broadcast a major fight for free. Before that happens there needs to be more interest in the sport and fights like these bring in the fans.
Fights like these will get the big names to fight each other because they will see how much more money there is to be made fighting each other. The money generated will also attract young athletes to the sport since they will see the opportunities available compared to other sports as well. PPV is here to stay for now so we will have to accept that.Comment
