Damn, I'm reading the posts in this thread and you all are absolutely disgusting. If someone wants to see Holyfield get a title shot then let them. Don't accuse them of having a low boxing IQ because of what they want to see. SMH.

Holyfield would be fun to watch against any of the current heavyweight champs because he comes to fight. And Savarese wasn't any pushover. Anybody who thinks he was should get into the ring that monster. He has an effective jab and straight right. Just not quite enough movement. Either of these guys could beat a lot of heavyweights. Holyfield's problem is he doesn't seem to be able to muscle people quite as well anymore, and his punch output appears to have decreased, although he still has good foot movement. But he's no Ali, so it will take more than foot movement for him to win the big one. I can't see why he deserves a shot at the title ahead of some of the other guys based on fighting merit, but, if one considers his fan base and charm, which seems to work for a lot of other people, why shouldn't he get his shot and then fade into obscurity. He's not big and strong enough to do the Foreman thing.....

I think holyfield has looked pretty good in his last fights, he may be old but he has won his last four. Oquendo was a contender when Holyfield beat him. I dont see what Ibragimov has shown that leads people to believe he will destroy holyfield, i see that being a very competitive match. I would actually like to see Holyfield against Byrd, and the looser call it quits, at least in the heavyweight division.
