Marquez is the real test for Barrera and Pacquiao

“Pacquiao and Barrera cannot feel they are the best until the moment that they defeat Marquez! If they don’t defeat him, they can never say they are the best.” [details]

I think Marquez will fight pacman next year at some point but bearing in mind Manny/Barrera is on for October, Marquez is fighting Barrios in September so he couldn’t fight either of them anyway. Plus I think Manny/Barrera has got more to do with Top Rank and Golden Boy patching things up. One of the great thing about the feather-weights is, more often than not we get to see the fights we want to.

I agree completely. The best boxers should face each other in the ring, regardless of how their promoters and managers screw things up. You'd think they'd have a little more pride......

guys, take note, JMM is supposed lost to PAC, damn to 1 of the judges made a mistakes on round 1 on giving points. Both Barrera and Morales lost to PAC via a TKO, which he totally demolish the two Legendary mexican gladiator. JMM is a far less when it comes to boxing skills.

Another thing, why GOLDEN BOY and TOP RANK is giving their best to get PAC? I would say, PAC is the future of boxing hall of fame. Going against the best fighter after Barrera like JMM, Guzman, Valero and etc..

Climbing to Lightweight and future fight of the year with Joel Casamayor or even Juan Diaz..Watch it guys.

JMM is is a great technical boxer but he beat up a war torn MAB in their fight. Even though their about the same age, MAB's body has taken more toll than JMM. MAB has been dominated by Junior Jones and Pacquiao, been to war with Morales(3x) and Juarez. Its too late for MAB for the test against MAB.

For Pac, the test should have happen a couple of years ago but the rematch was turn down by JMM. According to some fans/observers, JMM has lost some speed due to age. Since Pac-MAB 2 will be this October, the rematch of JMM-Pac will be next year(if it does happen). Even though it will only be 1 year, JMM might be slower in the rematch with JMM. While Pac(assuming he wins against Pac), will be still in his prime. Pac is still one dimensional but added some boxing skills to his arsenals. Pac knockdown JMM 3x while a war torn MAB dropped JMM. For their rematch, Pac by late TKO or UD.

                    Guzman needs a better promoter.
