I watched the film, and you right, its shocking how lazy and undisciplined he was at exactly the wrong time! i.e The weeks before fighting the great MAB!

As for Hamed, agreed - he was hype. He loved the hype and he created the hype...and ultimately he became and still is incredibly rich because of that hype. How many other pro-fighters have there 2nd or 3rd fight in the top bill of Arena shows?

Hamed understood pro-boxing perfectly- its entertainment for the crowd. He always put on a brilliant show and no-one can doubt that. In my opinion one of the greatest showmen ever.

I'll never forget the hype surrounding Nigel Benn in the day, that was a little 'off'

Nigel Benn was one of the most exciting fighters ever, from Britain, America or anywhere. He wasn’t the most skilled but his style meant you were always in for an epic, fact. That’s why there was hype surrounding him.

I mean on his KO streak, even Yank writers were raving about this 'invincible machine'

the way the Beeb hyped Audley Harrison was cringe worthy.

Tell me about it... and just like Khan, that hype is guna come back and bite him on the arse.

Harrison was a dissapointment, and not because what he achieved wasn't good enough, its because the media set his bar far, far to ****ing high.

Aye mate they were, I think Khan will achieve more than Audley did though.

To mention Kahn in the same sentence as Audley is ridiculous, he hasn’t even had the opportunity to prove himself at the highest level yet.

Also he’s an awesome boxer and has all the attributes to go very, very far.
