4) Calling Diego Corrales (rip) One dimensional = Horrible

5) Saying Hatton was never seriously hurt when he was hurt by collazo and urango = Horrible

Fisrt, I never said Mayweather was on another level than anyone as u put it-I said he was on a level most guys would never be(my logic) There are roughly 3 billion men on the planet, how many of those could beat a one dimensional pro fighter? I'm guessing not many, but at any rate i followed that by saying Mayweather has proven he can beat one dimensional fighters and has beens-which by coincidense- is exactly what he has done! Whats the knock on mayweather? When is he gonna step up the competition? atleast thats what i hear everyone bitching about!

Did he keep plodding forwards against floyd? yes.

He couldnt outbox floyd skill for skill, he had to close distance with a jab and impose his size and strength advatage, did he didnt really have a plan B, which is why his jab got countered with a right hand, and he stopped throwing it.

Sometimes Fighters have dont have multiple ways to win against a certain opponent, does that make them one dimesional? no.

Ricky Hatton would have more ways to beat Castillo than he would mayweather, it sometimes depends on who you fight.

Technical_Skill is a very strange man. It's impossible to have an intelligent discussion with him, because he is so shallow-minded that he cannot really understand what you are posting. First of all, Let me preface by saying a couple things concerning Mayeweather ability. Yes, He has skills. He has shown that he can compete on a level that most guys never will. He has shown that he can beat flawed, one dimensional fighters, and he has shown he can beat over the hill has beens.

Now lets focus on matters at hand. Ricky Hatton is apparantly in the works. Most of mayweathers fans say this will be an easy fight for Mayweather. They base those assumption on statements like "Hatton is an inflated Castillo" or "Hatton doesn't have a Jab" or "Who has Hatton beat to be in Mayweathers league?". Well, lets address those points one at a time in a logical manner.

Hatton is an inflated Castillo- What does that mean? Castillo is a counter puncher that likes to stay in the pocket and work of the opponents mistakes. Hatton on the other hand is the purest form of pressure fighter there is. He comes and He comes, and if that don't work, He comes even more. To equate Hattons style to Castillo's shows a lack of understanding of the basics
skill sets required to understand the game. In other words, It's like calling Marvin Hagler a Technician!

Hatton doesn't have a jab- How does this figure into the equation? Oscar had a great jab. Did it help? Yes, when he used it, but in now way is a jab necessary to defeat Mayweather. If you had watched Hatton fight the first thing that becomes apparent is his ability to lunge in very quikly and rip Body shots and uppercuts without ever using the jab in a meaningfull way. Many will say that Floyd will counter hatton comming in, and that may be true, but when was the last time Floyd really had the power to discourage or hurt somone comming forward? Hatton has shown he is more than willing to take a little to give a little. Did you watch the Tzsyu fight? Many say it was a hugfest and Hatton cheated his way to victory. What most ignore is that Tzsyu landed many powerfull shots on Hatton and not for one second did stop the onslaught. Do any here really believe Mayweather has more pop that Tzsyu?

Who has Hatton beat? I counter, Who has Floyd beat? That said, I don't see where this has any bearing whatsoever on what would happen if they meet. Mayweather hasn't shown the kind of dominace required to automatically assume anything(with the exception that he will be highly mobile) where any matchup is concerned.

In the end the question is simple-Can Hatton slow Mayweather down enough to make him stand and fight. Now, There is the real question! If Hatton can slow Mayweather down with the body work he will eventually overpower Floyd. If on the other hand Mayweather can avoid and potshot all night, he will do exactly that.

I have little faith in Mayweather mental ability to withstand what Hatton will do to him. I think Mayweather doesn't know what adversity is. When He counters Hatton and Hatton keeps comming,and comming, and comming, Mayweather will begin to wear down.
