Have you guys noticed that Easton_Assasin and EMPOROAR post right after each other? I think someone here has two accounts.

As for Hatton beating Floyd in 10 rounds: I think it's possible (sorry technical skill) heres why.

It is possible that Hatton can improve the way he moves to get near Floyd like lateral movements. He can also add some new into his arsenal and learn to block lead rights which could help.

Then theres the style matchup, which favors Hatton completely

Inboxer > Outboxer > Brawler > Inboxer

Hattons an inboxer and Floyds an outboxer.

Matches are'nt made by style alone but who knows how Hattons Inboxing can effect Floyds game if he can cut off the ring and catch Floyd.

I also think that Hatton TKO-ing Floyd in 10 rounds is complete bull

Some of the biggest punchers in the sport have tried and failed to even put a mark on Floyds face because of his great defensive game and foot work.

And just look at the way his body is built. landing only 20% of your shots per round is not going to slow him down at all.

So I think that the fight could go either way.

On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays I think Hattons has a 20% chance of winning.

Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays I think Hatton is going to get massacred.

And on Sundays I think the style matchup favors Hatton so unexpectedly that Hatton's going to massacre Floyd and show the world that Floyds just an overhyped fighter that got exposed because Floyds never fought anyone like Hatton.

Thats what happened in Naz-Barrera, it might happen this fight because of Hattons smothering.

I respect your opnion, i didnt post in this thread that Hatton didnt have a chance, i think he does, but I cant agree with anyone who thinks its an even contest or a pickem fight, which is what easton assasin is saying, i think floyd has the edge in this fight.

He looked very beatable against Judah and DLH. were those two not flawed and over the hill respectivly-how would those fights have went down? fact is Floyd hasn't dominated anyone of note in how long? Why does everyone continue to believe he is anything more than a slick blown up 130lb boxer?

Ricky hatton is unbeaten in i think 43 fights. He has a wicked body attack a good chin, and a will to win. you don't acheive those things on accident. He has beaten a current ranking p4p guy(anyone can be called past prime after a lose-anyone)Kostya Tszyu was a live opponent and fought a hell of a fight-It wasn't no cake walk for Hatton either!

I just don't see how anyone can dismiss Hatton as anything other than a legitimate threat to Mayweather and it being able to go either way!

I will leave you with this- Every single p4p guy(Jones,Hopkins,and now Mayweather) seems to carry weight based on theories about their mythical ability. I watched Jones and then Hopkins fall to guys that everyone gave no chance-when to my eye it was a serious challenge to their titles. I got banned for picking and defending Taylor in the first fight against Hopkins. I was called moron,idiot,***-you name it. come fight night i was vindicated-did they then own up? nooo, the attacked everything from bad judges to cosmic injustice-end result-banstick in my face!!!

I also picked Tarver to beat Jones-albeit i called it a 12dec and it ended up devestating ko. The buildup was the same, all the name calling the same. fight night? you know the history. again i found myself assaulted from all sides by the hurt jones fans. again i had to move on- they just couldn't accept the fact i actually made sense!

point is. Hatton is a live, unbeaten, tough brawler that has shown he comes to fight all night long! Mayweather is a guy looking to control a fight so he can set the pace- i dont see Hatton letting him do that.

I see this fight a toss up in terms of possibility-I pick Hatton by tko10!

Yes it may be a close fight,

Doesnt make it a pickem fight,

I think Hatton can win this fight, anything can happen in a boxing ring,

But light of his defensive frailties i dont see how you can give him a 50/50 chance with mayweather, also dont see how when using logic in hindsight you would predict hatton to knock out mayweather in 10 rounds,

Could it happen? yes,

Is it likely to happen? I dont think so.
