Still, a past his prime Mosley dominated a guy Hatton barely got by. I know styles make fights, but seriously lol

I think he's trying to say stylistically, this is a nightmare for Hatton

You won't hear nothing from Hatton for the next couple of weeks, hes going on holiday here is a nice quote for ya if ya think the fight isn't happening.

Hatton's dad Ray, who manages his affairs, said: "It looks to me like the Floyd Mayweather fight can be made - and that is one that Ricky really wants.

"I expect we will make some type of announcement by the start of August, but right now Ricky needs a break."

What a ****ing redundant thread. DiegoFuego, you made this exact point in another thread, and promptly got ignored but you childishly had to clog the board up with your own thread about it.

Hatton is on holiday, Floyd is as yet in retirement. there have been no formal contract offers from floyd to Hatton ever - unless you can provide me with documented proof to the contrary. Talk about something else for a while, like the fights we've got coming up over the next month or so - theres some cracking bouts to discuss, lets just give Mayweather and Hatton a ****ing rest....

Diego stop acting like Floyd is a star.

He's the best boxer out there today, but no one is interested in him.

He can't generate $10M, it's Hatton who gets to decide if he wants the fight for his legacy, because Hatton has the fans.

He is in the driver's seat, so he makes the terms and the offers for that matter, not Hatton.

Here is an article to confirm it from a respected boxing writer who appears on HBO legendary nights all the time. Just like I've been saying about the situation, word for word.

There are no talks going on.

                You're an idiot.

Since when does making a sizeable but not-likely-to-be-accepted offer somehow make you less serious about making a fight than someone who has not made any offer whatsoever?

I think the fight is going to happen since it's clear that Mayweather has made an offer for the fight on his terms. It's only a matter of whether Hatton will accept something well below the $13 million he's seeking. I could see Hatton making like $6-7 million plus upside for this...

That'd be a bit humiliating for you then, seems though I'm pretty sure that you're one of the many people on this forum who have said that Ricky Hatton will NEVER fight Floyd Mayweather.

I don't see how that would be humiliating. I would be glad if Hatton stopped ducking after all these years. With all the **** Hatton has said over the last few years, he can't turn down this fight no matter what or he looks like a total *****...
