I haven't seen much of this kid, I think I caught one of first fights but....so whats all the fuss about?

Is he being touted as a future star? Is he anything like his dad?

I think it's a lose, lose situation for him unfortunatly. Could you imagine what it would be like to grow up the son of Micheal Jordan? If you get what I'm trying to say.........

No matter how good he is he will never stack up against his father and he will live in his fathers shadow forever. I think the kid is good with potential to be very good but I can't say great. He still needs to fight some better quality opponents and then we can make an intelligent assesment of him.

He is still raw and like to **** to much for my taste, especially with his size and reach he has over most of his opponents. He needs to learn to fight tall and use that to his advantage.

That's exactly what I'd like him to do. Nacho would teach him to box like he did with Rafa Marquez.

He's fighting bums because he didn't have much of an amateur career (I believe he had 5 fights). Give the guy a break. By this time next year he'll have fought a few top 15 or maybe top 10 guys. Maybe even Gatti, if he dares fight him after his "warm up" fight.

i like jccjr, he has a lot of potential, but he's a long ways away still. i don't like the hype, and from what i've herd he dose'nt either. he's young and making his way up, he needs to fight better opponents, not world class guys just yet, but some guys that can really box. love that left hook, it's better then his fathers, his jab works good when he uses it, he needs a good trainer like roach, or mayweather sr, if he gets that squared away then he'll go straight to the top

I've seen some fights of him on the undercards.

He's a work in progress boxer. He has the raw skills though he has never been tested but who's to say he won't make it.

Let's give him the benefit of the doubt before judging him negatively.
