Definately. I remember him in his day and his resume does have some quality other than Arguello. He was avoided by the 147's I seem to remember...The younger fans can always visit youtube and watch this amazing fighter in action!

Kostya T would have been overwhelmed by Pryor. He beats PBF at 140 as well. He beats my current favourite Hatton as well by late TKO I should imagine.

His resume's not that lacking. He has Cervantes on there too, who's arguably the next best LWW that ever lived.

Kameda was a big southpaw, and undefeated at the time. Pryor could also take a punch from the bigger and hard hitting Arguello which is another reason why Kostya T would not beat him. Pryor was the complete package.

You would have to say that Pryor's game was KT's worst nightmare going by his 2 losses. Mind you, Pryor's been put on his ass before and I don't think any of the guys he faced hit quite as hard or as accurately as Tszyu, so you could never totally discount him.

Good point made although I think Pryor would have avoided KT's big right hand bomb with his speedy movement. He would have been his worst nightmare indeed, but if KT connected then maybe.

Yeah, I pretty much agree. The real glimmer of hope for KT is that Pryor would leave him the room for the big right, unlike Hatton did for the majority of the fight.

eeeeh cervantes was old as hills at the time.

I pick Benitez to beat him, based on the combination of istinctive defense and general toughness. On the other hand Benitez was naturally bigger (he was at 140 as a teenager, so it is maybe not fair a comparison).

I have seen footage of Locche only when he was already old, and from what i have seen Pryor would have been just too much pressure, too many punches, too much movement.

A fight with Loi would have been interesting, from what I have read on Loi, but having seen no footage I will abstain.

It is also hard to pick him against Ross, Chavez or Duran (in fact I would pick Duran 9/10, Ross 8/10, JCC 5/10).

A great great fantasy fight would have been vs Meldrick Taylor.

As for Mayweather Jr. Let's see how well he can deal with fast non stop pressure from a 140er in Hatton to have an idea.

Hatton-Pryor, great, close fight until Hatton's face is the bloodiest mess ever seen outside a slaughterhouse.

Pryor would murder Zoo in an almost embarassing fashion, Zoo was awesome but this is just a bad style matchup for him

If Pryor hadn't cheated, Arguello had him beat.
