Pac would get beat down by any top 40 MMA fighter. You guys even discussing this is ridiculous. The guy cuts weight to fight at 130, can you imagine him bulking up to fight some of the LW's premier 155 lb guys. It would not be funny.

Anyone who thinks a boxer could cross over to boxing and beat a top MMAer or vice versa is an idiot. All those beautiful punches boxers throw are premised on the fact that the other guy isn't going to kick them in the knees with their longer weapon, e.g the leg. This is why Thai boxers fight more squared off. The leg replaces the jab and they use power in both hands. So then the boxer closes and what happens? He eats knees from the clinch, or elbows, or the MMAer simply picks him up, throws him down, mounts him, and either beats him down or submits him. We have 2 different sport here. All you have to do is go out and try either one, and you will see the difference. Sure, MMAer's are sloppy punchers and most wouldn't last with the best boxers. The top boxers and MMAer's acknowledge each other's deficiencies. You fringe guys can argue all day and night. The top boxers wouldn't last a round in a fight with a top MMA guy, because they have to have the leverage to sit down on those beautiful punches, which they won't have when they are getting their legs kicked out from under them. And the top MMAer won last against a top boxer because the range is different. He'll be fighting more openly at close range and get nailed in short order. You guys should get out more and try this stuff, rather than shooting from the lip. It takes a helluva lot more energy to stay out of the way (in the case of a boxer against an MMAer), and the leverage ain't going to be there, than it does to close and maul. These are 2 different sports with completely different rules. Open your eyes.....
