    Collazo...not a pretty fight.

Mayweather: promised to go toe-to-toe with Oscar, but hey, we all knew he'd get KO'd like that. So, he did the smart thing and fought a boring fight.

Vs Baldomir and Judah, nothing terribly exciting at all happened, except maybe the melee with Judah's camp.

Hatton and Mayweather are p4p guys, but their performances in the ring have not impressed. The wins have been big, but the performances themselves were not attractive to most fans.

They need to fight each other and settle it.

All that interview told me was Hatton has no intention of fighting Mayweather.

He's talking about an announcement in early August (which means they didn't come close to a deal in these negotiations over the weekend)

He's talking about how Mayweather won't leave Vegas (which means he expects to fight in Britain, which is out of the question)

Basically, he doesn't want to fight like I said all along.

i'm with speedkillz, mayweather-hatton is going to be fashioned after mayweather-gatti, maybe not the same in severity but it will feature the same principles, floyd beating ricky to the punch and hatton's face (with his susceptibility to cuts) swelling and bleeding after a couple rounds.

sure, ricky will employ his ruiz-hatton hybrid style and try to wrestle and smother but floyd's just too fast and too smart to fight hatton's fight.

floyd wins this handsdown, by KO, TKO, SD, UD, whatever, he's coming out of this fight with a W.

I don't think Mayweather, himself, expects this fight to happen.

He said he's coming out of retirement to see if Ricky really wants him.

They're talking about it, but there aren't any sigs on the contracts.

Anything can put a damper on this fight.

At least if this fight does happen, I'm sure Ricky's gonna gain some new
U.S. fans due to his cheerful personality, in comparison to the reserved DLH,
                      and the barely audible Baldomir.

Ricky's pre-fight interviews should be interesting to watch, and will probably give Floyd some comp in the chatter department.
