No, Brewster was hurt several times by punches that would have knocked almost anybody else down.

Buddy did the right thing - Brewster hardly landed a punch and received an enormous number of hard left jabs and some hard rights. He was unable to fight back, and only his great heart and chin were keeping him on his feet.

I hate the thought of Lamon getting permanent brain damage - he's a fine man and a tough fighter and deserves a better fate than that.
