Yes, Hatton would have beaten Tszyu in Kostya's back yard with Kostya's mum as referee.

The man has a point. Hatton is indeed the typical white hope fighter.
What a strange statement. Talk of a "White Hope" has not been relevant for decades. More people are now looking for an American heavyweight, any American. In fact it's those white foreign guys who are now considered the problem.

Hatton would have won on that night wherever they fought....

The better question is would Hatton beat a not over the hill, rusty, coming off an injury Kosta?...a prime Kosta, one who did not have one foot in retirement Kosta.

And my money, and a lot of it...would have been on Kosta.

KT was soundly beaten. Does not matter where the fight was in this case. The man has not fought since. He has supposedly not even watched the fight yet on video. He would not want a re-match, ever. You hatton haters will be the same exact people that would have said before the fight that Ricky would get knocked out...

Hatton haters must look at this arguement intelligently. Along with Ricky's fighting style, KT simply was not up for a long war with a young and hungry contender. Changing of the guard it is sometimes called, and it does happen quite often not just in boxing but in all sport.

This threads ****ing stupid, Hatton would have beat him wherever they fought.
Hatton will fight anyone anywhere, to say a fights result would turn out different because it was in America is ****ing ludicrous its funny though so keep posting these daft threads they give me a laugh.

i think zoo could have won in the usa. its hard to beat any fighter in his backyard especially hatton since he is a british hero over there. the fight was still close when zoo quit so maybe he would have gotten more rounds in the usa but the refs still let him grab here.

It seems like boxing has bent the rules for Hatton's style. Even in the Castillo fight he got warned for holding but it was Castillo who got the deduction and Hatton didn't. In all the US fights he has fought the same way and no point deduction. I dont blame him though, if it works, why change it
