I was referring to your mention of the early losses to Shufford and Etienne - he was young then and improved after that. The loss to Lyakhovich came as a result of an eye injury in the first round, otherwise he would have KOed Lyakhovich, so it was the result of bad luck, rather than anything wrong with Lamon's ability as a fighter.

Aye Hattons win was great but so was Lang beating Duran,Benn beating McClellan,McGuigan beating Pedroza,Bruno beating McCall was a great win not up there with the 1s ive mentioned but worth a mention all the same. I'm not a Brit who claims Lewis's wins as British wins Lewis's dont count as he was Canadian.

Watched that fight on Youtube the other day for the first time in 10 years. No fight will make you a Nigel Benn fan more than that one.

Yeah Nigel Benn is the man. To get knocked down like that in the first round isnt great for your confidence and to come back and win shows great character. A horrible ending to a great fight.

            Benn-Eubank

            Hamed-Robinson
(Not the greatest fight but damn the way Hamed humiliates him and throws him about like a little rag doll is hilarious)

            Benn-Mcclellan

shame about the outcome seen a documentary on McClellan, most boxer's won't go near him, because it makes them worried in the ring, Roy Jones gave alot of money to help him, that was great gesture.

Yeah I think Roy Jones was the only one. Heard Joe Frazier also drove for hours through thick snow to reach a McClellan benefit dinner.

I think them re-uniting was noe of boxings greatest unsung moments
