Why Wont Hatton Fight Floyd In Grand Rapids?

This is real talk. I also dont want you to respond if your going to come back with some immature ****. I hate it when people act like kids and make sexual comments. That **** eats me up. If you say that **** then your not a real man.

Anyways, why do people try to act like England & the US are the same thing? Its not and if you dont aknowledge that then your flat out a hater. How many not Brits fight in England, how many non Mexicans fight in Mexico, and how many not Ricans fight in PR? There are all kind of different people that fight in the US. How many non Mexicans live in Mexico and non Ricans live in PR? There are all kind of different Nationalites living in the US.

When fighters from other Countries come here then its no big deal. Alot of them will have alot of fans and 9 times out of 10 there Nationality will support them. If a American goes there then its him against the whole Country. People say dumb stuff like "why can Hatton fight in the US but Floyd cant fight in England"? Its noway near the same thing. Even if Hatton didnt have traveling fans, the crowds wouldnt be that biased against him. Most fights are pretty netural. Its not like that at all over there. It will be 60 to 90 thousand going against Floyd. You think thats anywhere near the same as Hatton fighting here? Its not the same thing of a guy fighting there compared to a guy fighting here and if anyone calls Floyd a punk for not doing it then its ******. What if Floyd called Cotto out and Cotto said that the only way he will fight Floyd is if he came to PR? Everyone would rip Cotto and call him a punk but some how its different for Hatton? What if Pac had to fight EM or MAB in Mexico? What if Cotto told Hatton the only way he fights him is if he came to PR? Would you take up for Cotto like your doing Hatton? What if Hatton said that Cotto has to come to PR for a fight?

Some people would say that is different because those other guys had most of there fights in the US. To me that makes it even worst for Hatton. He's had all of his fights there so it makes it even 10x the home advantage. Now Im not saying that Hatton cant ever have another big fight at home but he has to earn it. Floyd is rated higher then Hatton by everyone and is the #1 rated fighter in the sport. Since when do you have to travel when your #1? In every Pro sport the #1 team gets the Home court advantage. How would Floyd look going to England like he's coming off of losses or like he is some average fighter? Thats a joke. He's the #1 guy, you should come to him. He doesnt even want that. Its not like he's saying for Hatton to fight him in Grand Rapids. Thats what you compare England to. Dont say that England is to Hatton what the US is to Floyd because its not true. When your in these other Countries then you have your whole Country behind you. Its a whole different kind of crowd. Thats not like Hatton fighting in the US, thats like Hatton fighting in Grand Rapids. Why cant he fight Floyd in a big Arena in Detroit? Would that be fair? Hell No it wouldnt be fair and thats not even a good comparison because in Grand Rapids Hatton could still get some fans in there and there would still be like 40 to 60 thousand less then would be in Wembley. Think about how huge that number is? Its so unfair.

Its crazy because people act like Hatton is doing Floyd a favor by fighting here. The US isnt big on boxing and has a million different Nationalities living in it. If Hatton fought Floyd in Vegas then there would probally be more Hatton fans there but people think thats the same exact thing as Floyd going to England and fighting Hatton with maybe 90,000 people going crazy for him? Its a joke. Its not even close to the same and Hatton is the lower seed. Thats whats crazy. He's the lower rated guy and you think thats fair? I also heard someone say its fair because Floyd will want the fight at 147 and if he's a real man then he should fight Hatton at 140? Now Floyd has to fight Hatton at 140 because Hatton is the Champ there? Thats a joke. He's only the champ because he wouldnt fight Floyd. Floyd is a 5 division champ but he's supposed to fight Hatton at 140 because thats the only weight he's good at, even though he's really nearly 40 pounds bigger then Floyd? Can someone please explain that to me. Hatton should be able to beat him easier the higher the weight class they fight at.

The bottom line is Hatton is setting terms like Floyd is Vivian Harris and the fans are falling for it because there so blinded by there hatred of Floyd that they will go against him no matter what. If anyone thinks this is fair then there crazy. Not only that but on top of all that Hatton wants even money? Floyd is the #1 fighter in the game but he has to come to England to fight Hatton in his home town & Country with 90,000 going against him for even money. Thats what Floyd should do? You really believe that. If you believe that then your a fool but Im glad Floyd is not one. No one would do that. Why didnt Calzaghe come to Florida to fight Lacy? Because Calzaghe was the #1 guy. What was that fight like crowd wise? Lacy against the whole Country. If they had fought in the US then Calzaghe would still have alot of fans. Its not the same thing between the US & a different Country. Its not even close. Pac Man can run for President in his Country and probally so could Hatton but you guys think its the same thing? Its a joke. Not only that but even money? So funny. Take your blinders off and stop acting unreasonable just because you dont like the guy. Its funny how Hatton's people talk **** then they throw this stuff out there and try to turn it around on Floyd like the ball is in his court? They can do that because they know some dumb fans will fall for it. You guys cant even see the game there playing

I can give you two reasons why it makes no sense to fight in Michigan:

1. Floyd would not draw huge crowds like Hatton will in England. Basically the gate reciepts will be tiny.
2. Even a small gate in Vegas increase revenue exponentially as the Casinos pay dividends to the promotion.

I don't see any offers to fight in Michigan either. It has to be Vegas, New York, Manchester or London.

If Floyd had a real fan base, it could be somewhere out west, but Thomas and Mack doesn't seat as much as Wembley, and it could only sellout anyway because Hatton's FANS are even willing to travel

If floyd fought in Detroit it would attract a lot of fans, but that's besides the point. The only real thing that matters is Floyd will choose the location, if it ends up in the UK it's because Flyd decided it that way. Floyd is the the WW and Jr MW champ. He is going to se the terms. Ricky has talked all this **** about how exciting he is, blah, blah, blah. Now it's time for him to show he's got the balls that Mayweather had when he let Oscar pick a heavier weight, gloves, location, ring size, etc. If Hatton is the man he says he is then step up and beat the man at his weight in his location just like Floyd did.
