wow
i cant wait to see it happen.
ricky hatton is a very good fighter against fighters at the twilight of their careers/shell of their former self!!!
have you feminine nut huggers forgot about that collozo fight? i know you did!!! if collozo did what he did against hatton, what the **** do you think floyd will do?? if you dont know then let me tell you.
hatton will try that pressure **** whilst dinning on jabs and landing heavily against the air with his counters. hatton says to himself"what the bloody hell mate i didnt know foighters had feet, most of my opponents were right there when i threw that punch, oh no","i must get close enough to hug him", "oh no
what have we hea a foighter with inside skills!!!!!","if i dont get something done in these first 4 rounds im toast mate,i can feel the effects of drinking at the pub already!"," i have to hug him at all costs or ill eat too many jabs and straih roight hands"."since i dont have much of a jab, ill fein it then throw a right so i can --BOPPP!!! just at a counter right""III must keep the pressure on him becuz me cant dance with him" "nothing seems to be working"............
in short order hatton will take too many clean punches while missing badly with his own. around round 6 or 7 the ref will have to take a look at his face as it will look something like cheese pizza with extra sauce!!as he may still be game enough to continue, he will lose by stoppage(for safety reasons) in round 9. PERIOD
floyds defense is too good.floyds ofense is too good!!
hatton is maybe a c+ skilled fighter. only asset he has is,
desire, heart, and a hell of a lot of pressure, which will all be nullified against PBF!!!!
peace!Comment

I agree with that last post
Hatton is a pretty good fighter, no doubt. But he isn't nearly as polished at the craft as Floyd is. Remember, Hatton got his butt handed to him against Collazo and got an HBO investment decision to win that belt. I was taught the way to judge a round/fight is to think about which of those two guys would I rather have been at the end. I KNOW none of us wanted to be Hatton before that decision was announced. Now our boy Floyd has been fighting big boys like Collazo that have more talent and are more dangerous for quite a few fights now at welterweight. He stopped Gatti, he would've knocked out Judah (if not for the dirty tactics), he danced around Baldomir all night long (a very large welter), then did the same thing to De La that he did to Baldomir. Do any of you remotely think that Hatton could beat all those guys??
De La Hoya would MASSACRE Hatton and I even think Zab would destroy Hatton too. Hatton pressures, but he's no Cotto. Floyd's shots will have high impact on Hatton, hurting him early and often because Hatton is naturally Floyd's size when in fighting shape so Floyd's assault will have much more impact than we've seen with these bigger fighters he's been facing. Hatton cuts easy and his footwork is pretty non-existent.
Mayweather by TKO stoppage at around round 10.Comment

Hatton looks like Godzilla fighting sedentary, heavy-footed old guys like Tszyu and Castillo. That may be enough to sway soccer hooligans to believe he is the second coming of Jesus, but not me. Hatton's style is very simple: Dive in with one or two punches, clinch and smother counters, and throw a flurry off the break. Collazo, who moved more, was able to exploit the predictability of Hatton and score successfully numerous times. Mayweather, who is far more gifted than Collazo, would have no problem connecting with Hatton.
To steal Emmanuel Steward's lines, Mayweather is a computer printout of what beats Ricky Hatton.Comment

ahem..sorry lads...you are mostly clever boxing followers and if you reckon floyd will have it easy then you are..not very astute in my mind..this will be a very close fought encounter between two extremly good athletes..ok Floyd has the edge but..for ****s sake do not diminish Hattons skill or accoplishments....ok i'll give you a floyd UD or SD but nothing more..Comment
