If No Floyd vs Hatton, Then What?

There is another thread on here about Hatton not being able to take this fight because of Warren and that he has to fight M'Baye 1st and will then fight Mosley in England. If thats true then I think its a joke. Alot of fighters hide behind there promoters. If Hatton really wants this fight then it can definatly happeneds. It happeneds all the time in boxing. You can go to court quick and no court stands in the way of a huge fight. If this is true then its just a out from Hatton like I said he would do. I said the whole time that the fans & media are voluntaring Hatton & Cotto's name and are calling Floyd a punk but if Floyd challanged them right now then they wouldnt take the fight. No way in hell that Top Rank puts Cotto in with Floyd at this very moment. Hatton is his own man. That Warren **** is garbage. If Hatton wants this fight then it can happened. Wasnt that the same guy just talking about fighting Oscar? Are you going to tell me that he wouldnt have fought Oscar? He just doesnt want Floyd and he has the excuse to get out of it.

I still wouldnt mind if Hatton ducked Floyd for a good opponent but M'Baye? This is boxing and fights take a long time to happened. Who cares about the Mosley fight if your going to fight M'Baye 1st? He should fight Mosley 1st. If Floyd-Hatton doesnt happened right now then where do you think they go? Does Floyd go back into retirment and does Hatton fight a real guy? I think that if this is true then it can backfire on Hatton because he may fight M'Baye with plans to fight Mosley in Wembly next but Floyd might beat him to it and fight Mosley in November. Shane would take the Floyd fight because he's not going to wait for Hatton and if he beats Floyd then it makes the Hatton fight even bigger. If Floyd fights Shane and wins then what does Hatton do? He looks like a fool who ducked Floyd for a bum and he just fought a guy who wont help him at all. Floyd will have had a tough fight against Mosley which would make him even more battle tested and harder to beat while Hatton will be facing a bum and then having to fight Floyd? It wouldnt get him ready at all. The time is now and he's blowing it. He can still fight Shane in Wembley after the Floyd fight. It still would be big.

If the Hatton stuff does happened then both Mosley & Hatton are fools. One of them would lose and be out of the sweep stakes. If Mosley lost then he would ruin his legacy and not even get the chance to fight the #1 guy in the sport which would be perfect on his resume. If Hatton loses then he would be called a fool for fighting a tough guy like Shane instead of Floyd. Why pick Shane over Floyd when most think that he would have just as much of a chance to lose against Shane. If your going to lose to one of them then you'd rather it be Floyd. If he gets beat at Wembly by Shane then he would look like a huge fraud. Grahm talks mad **** but he doesnt want it either. Its always one excuse after another. No way they want to jump straight to Floyd. I know they would atleast want a tuneup 1st and then maybe not even after that. They talk that stuff in the media but then always back down

Warren has M'Baye and owns the rights to the MEN Arena, Warren also has terrestrial TV which would be great for Ricky to be on atleast once, and Ricky wants to fight as early as October (they feel the long lay-offs did him no favours for the Collazo and Urango debacles), and.. if they didn't agree this with Warren they'd have been sued millions. It's just unfortunate, and they aren't all friendly with Warren again put it that way

Mayweather's camp have stated that Mayweather will fight in November, but if Mosley is tied-up with this Hatton fight then it will be interesting to see who Mayweather ends up fighting in Nov (he'd have to wait nearly a year for Hatton if my sources are correct)

Unless Hatton fights Mayweather in Jan on a Golden Boy card

Well, I just hope it happeneds and I also hope that Shane gets a dance partner. Shane can get tough fights if he wants to but he just doesnt wan to right now. He can definatly fight Clottey but he probally figures its too much high risk/ low reward. I hope Cintron gets his **** straight because I do think Shane would fight him and I would love to see that. I hope he kiils Mathysee because I could then see the Mosley fight happening.

Then it would basically be a tourney. Floyd vs Hatton, Mosley vs Cintron, & Cotto vs Margarito would all happened around the same time considering that Margarito beats Williams and that is no lock. That would leave 3 winners and then Clottey so thats 4 guys.

For my sake I then hope its Floyd vs Mosley & Cotto vs Clottey. I think Clottey is a beast and would beat Cotto but for boxing sake lets hope it then turns out to be Floyd vs Cotto for Floyd's last fight with a prime Cotto that will certainly be a beast if he beats all those other guys

I want Hatton-Mayweather but DLH is sniffing round a Wembley bout with Hatton. The gate would be enormous.
Hatton would take that in a heartbeat. Probably be a good fight too.
I definitely prefer PBF-Hatton, PBF-Cotto soon over Mosely. I think Mosely is not the fighter he was (Collazo was a decent win but that's all by his standards) and I will always give precedence to up-n-comers.
C'mon Floyd. Cotto, Hatton and finish by battering Marg. for the hell of it and I'll quickly forget the last few years.

Oscar is not as well known as you'd think in the UK. Mayweather is more notorious through hatton.

Boxing is such a minority sport over here that only home successes are followed by the public - most of the 10,000 Hatton 'fans' don't follow boxing that closely, they just support Hatton. Sad but true.

Die-hard boxing fans may, but not a great deal more tickets would be sold for a Hatton-De La Hoya fight than a Hatton-Bloggs fight
