Why isnt Pac/Marquez II being made??

I personally dont want to see Pacman beat on Barrera again. Im also not all that excited to see him face off with Soto. Pac/Marquez II is the fight that needs to be made. The fans want it, and the first one ended in a draw, so whats the problem with making this fight happen? Anybody have any info?

sadly, its manny pacquiao's fault, for being an ignorant or just plain ****** guy and signin contracts with 2 promotional companies at practically the same time...

I was going to say the same thing but I have a better question. Why aren't neither of these guys fighting Joan Guzman; especially Marquez? Marquez is fighting Barrios who was beaten pretty easily by Guzman in his last fight. Why fight him when Guzman who's undefeated & a better fighter?

That's a good fight. Don't forget that Guzman is with GBP so the can be made with no problem!

It's all about politics. Pacquiao, as nice a guy as he is outside the ring, knows nothing about the business side of this sport and whether he was taken advantage of or not remains unknown. The fact is that he did sign a contract with both Top Rank and Golden Boy at the same time and therefore he remains tied up in a bunch of political **** that is bad for the sport.

It'll take a while for Pacquiao/Marquez II to come to fruition. Until then, I, like the others want to see Marquez/Guzman.

i think its because gbp has serious hopes in both marquez and guzman, they wouldnt want marquez beating on a good undefeated fighter in guzman, nor are they gonna risk marquez getting beat by the new lion guzman before having the big money pac vs marquez 2 fight......

right now it seems like every fight its about money money money and the promotions battle like the one thats going one between Arum and De La Hoya this is bad for boxing this fight will make a lot of pay per view buys but no fighthers can never come to an agreement
