you're obviously american mundine would destroy lacy and the talent pool isnt soooo bad at lhw just a little more international flavour. if anything mundine should move down to middleweight.



this is true. i wont get too carried away. i just see the fight as another positive performance from a guy who is improving all the time. i was frustrated that mundine didnt put him away but alot of people feel he wanted the rounds and carried nievas somewhat. i dont buy this completely but he did leave off the throttle on a couple of occasions when nievas was on his way out.

since the kessler loss mundine has beaten soliman knocking him down 4 times and knocking him out in the ninth.. soliman who lost a very close decision to winky. he won a 120-108 win against danny green... a guy who was ranked 5 by the ring magazine at the time.. i hope alot of you guys take into account his improvements before you cast him aside.

I'm actually english lol. Mundine would not destroy lacy. He may be able to box lacy but he wouldnt hurt him cause lacy has a great chin. Also when mundine finds out he cant keep lacy off him he start to fade and then lacy will cut him off and destroy him with his overhand right and left hook.
Mundines good though i have to admit but i dnt see him as a top 3 smw contender. I also think carl froch may be able tobeat him as well

i agree. i dont think mundine should go near green again unless green manages to take a belt at light heavy. he's already proven his dominance and an extra 7 pounds wont change much. that being said green does look very comfortable at LHW. destoryed murdoch and delisle recently. he should soundly beat otis griffin soon and then both him and briggs will be on the verge of title shots.

i dont think mundine would ever seek to beat lacy by KO but i also think he would have an easy night racking up a points win. lacy showed his vulnerability to speed against calzag and mundine is equally fast if not faster. i think mundine would potshot his way to a clinical victory against lacy in much the same fashion he did against green.

Even though i dnt like australian fighters because of the way the aussie big them up. I do love katsidis though when i saw him fight grahem earl it was awesome his power was superb, those twisting hooks he throws are mean.
Shame guzman pulled out of the fight.

he can improve all the time because he had no amateur career and has only been boxing for about 7 years. doesnt drink or smoke, and is an incredible athlete. alot of people dont realise this. australian experts think that it is conceivable that he wont peak until around 35.

as you can probably tell now the fight against ottke.. his 11th boxing match EVER is hardly consequential.

against kessler admittedly he was out of his class.. still the only person to take rounds off the great dane.

i think kessler deserves to be favoured but mundine is a different fighter.

Mundine is good bu thats it. Joe and mikkel would school him with ease and jeff when he returns would proberly put muindine on his back if jeff ever gets back to the way he was. I think if mundine could put on the weight correctly he should move up to 175 as there arnt to many hard fights for him and maybe with tarver, roy jones and glen johnson getting old he may win a title. Unless he fights chad dawson.

Tarver is better then Calzaghe and Kessler.

Mundine is improving he got a shot against kessler just because he lst against him long time ago doesnt mean he is going to lose again and he is a different fight now and much better
