Does Jermain Taylor deserve to be off the P4P list?

The Ring Magazine p4p ratings have dropped JT from their ratings after his fight w/ Cory Spinks. Taylor won, but it was an ugly fight. Does he really deserve this? Hes beaten Hopkins twice, Draw w/ Winky (another p4p fighter) and beat Kassim Ouma and Cory Spinks, one former champ, and one current champ.

If Floyd Mayweather has 'retired', why is he still number one?

You need to check your eyes, the first Hopkins fight was not even close, I had Hopkins winning only the last 3 rounds.

If Taylor is not in your top 5 you need to be shot and that includes the ****ers from Ring Magazine who are bunch of crack heads.

i do think Taylor won the first fight against Hopkins, but theres no ****ing way to give Hopkins less than 4 rounds

I watched the first fight with taylor/hopkins and i really didnt see taylor land more than 2 or 3 clean shots in the entire fight. Taylor only won 4 or 5 rounds in my book b/c hopkins didn't throw anything, not b/c taylor beat him in the round, only b/c hopkins just didnt throw anything. The 2nd fight was different, and i wish i could see the taylor that fought hopkins the 2nd time around.

I would have to disagree with Ring Magazine removing Taylor from the list. Even though his last two performances weren't great doesn't mean anything. People say that Corey Spinks was a blown up welterweight and made Taylor look bad. I don't understand that. How can you make someone look bad when you only land 85 punches and don't even hurt your opponent. Spinks never really engage Taylor that much cause he was afraid of his power. Also Taylor was getting a better reaction out of the crowd because the punches he landed had more snap and excitement to them. He even landed more than Spinks so how did he make Taylor look bad. The Hopkins and Wright thing is ridicolous too. Regardless of how he did it he still beat Hopkins twice. People say Taylor didn't the first one and it was a fluke. If that was the case how come he was able to beat him again. Think about Rahman and lewis. And the Winky Wright draw was Winky's own fault anyway. If hadn't coasted the last couple of rounds and actually fought Taylor, Wright would have won. Thats true because even Taylor himself had said that. Point blank Taylor drew against Winky and beat Hopkins twice. Let me remind you that they are the best tactical boxers today and are part of the pound for pound elite. So I feel Taylor deserves to be up there. Don't take him off cause he had a couple of bad fights. It happens. He still won them and it was against former champions. If people are grading on unimpressive wins in the last couple fights than Floyd should be taken off. His wins against Baldomir and De La Hoya were far from impressive and I believe that alot of people can agree with me on that.

i dont think he is one of the ten best p4p fighters on the planet..
that being said, a drop from the middle of the top 10 to off it completely seems excessive.
