Jones vs Trinidad Practically Official
Trinidad Sr. is saying that Roy Jones will be Tito's first opponent if he gets past his next opponent and agrees to make the fight. Don King spoke to Jones on the phone and he was excited about the fight. It also says that the fight will be around the 170lbs.
Other names they considered were the winner of Hopkins/Winky and Mayweather but Trinidad Sr. says that Jones is the one he wants because Tito would be coming down in weight and it makes sense to fight him. He said he has no interest in Mayweather because Tito can't make the weight he is at and that PBF is too small to go up to 160. I think the goal is to have Tito fight at 160 againLast edited by vze2hhvj; 06-26-2007, 11:17 PM.

RJj's style has changed...vs. Ajamu he threw no check hooks or lead rights...instead he used alot of jabs and punishing body blows. At least hes adapting his game to his age. Tito fights the same, just gets hit more.

Wow. I can't believe so many people are saying they would have no interest in this fight! Really? I would love to see this fight, although I too would have prefered that it take place 5 years ago.
I think I would be more upset if Roy doesn't retire if he gets knocked out/ Tito retires AGAIN just because he gets a boxing lesson. That would be disturbing to me.
