Proves Why Mayweather Is Better than Hatton

Mayweather went up 5 weight category's and became champ in all of them! And made history along the way.

Hatton went up to face Collazo and got humiliated and ran back to 140 and now after beating an old, shot Castillo everyone thinks he's all this.....shame
shows the hatred u guys have for Mayweather.

If they fight Mayweather would win a wide decision.... if Collazo gave him problems Mayweather would make him look silly....If Oscar couldn't beat Floyd....what makes u think Ricky can?!

    thanks-bye

I personally, wouldn't dispute the fact that Mayweather is the superior..

Although I do think Hatton has an excellent chance to beat Floyd.

Styles do make fights after all, and Hatton has the right style.

      Maybe the perfect one.

People said the same thing about De La Hoya.

          Did they?

          I sure didn't..

I had Floyd to win that fight.

From the looks of your first post in this thread you have Floyd to win if he meets up with Hatton, but you say Hatton has a solid chance.

Mayweather went up 5 weight divisions because he has the style and physical attributes to do so. Not to mention he cherry picked his way from 140 upwards.

Hatton is more capable of beating Mayweather than anybody. I've been saying it for years. He has better footwork than De La Hoya, throws more punches and sustains more attacks. This combined with educated pressure and aggression and the pro-Hatton crowd... Mayweather is in for the hardest night of his career.

Well, I'm extremely uncomfortable with Hatton and this issue surrounding 147.. I think it's a dark cloud to put over a fighter, and his people made a mistake by invoking it..

The flip side is; that puts even more fire under Hatton, and the kid seems to thrive on pressure, bright lights, and big opportunity.

Not to say that Mayweather doesn't.. But I think a saw a few stitches in his seams when he fought De La Hoya.. The big stage got to him a little..

So, I have Hatton to win.

Sometimes it's a physical angle, sometimes it's a tactical one.

(.......I started off cookey on this so I might as well stick with it..)

In this case I think Ricky Hatton and Floyd Mayweather are both men with incredibly great spiritual power - men with super spirit.

It would be a Leonard Hearns type of struggle, spritually.

                Possibly physically.

Here, I think the metaphysical stuff will be the key.

They are both powerful like I said.. But Ricky Hatton is more the natural predator, and Floyd Mayweather is more the natural prey.

Not that prey isn't dangerous.. In the animal world, like in the Boxing world, a creature is never more dangerous than when it is wounded, or on the defensive. (I.E. Mayweather vs. Corrales)

And Floyd could win... He should win!

But I don't think he will.. For some reason..

Ultimately, these two could bring out the very best in each other.

Floyd is in his zone when he's being attacked, or falls into it..

And Hatton goes ape **** when he reaches the pearly gates.

I couldn't care how many divisions Floyd went up. He's a ten stone fighter at best and this is his peak weight. So winning at other weights and looking very ordinary is no indicator as to why he beats Hatton. At 140/147 Hatton has the tools to beat Floyd. He has the stamina, chin, body attack and relentless pressure to give Floyd big problems. If Castillo almsot beat Floyd, then Hatton I feel wears him down, closes the gap and smothers Floyd all night while breaking him up on the inside. Does anyone believe Hatton will allow Floyd to lay back on the ropes and mess like Oscar allowed him?

There is no comparison Hatton is a very good fighter but PBF is not very good PBF is a great fighter. His defensive skills are sick, he can do it all in the ring. I didnt think he could beat DLH but he did, he is the most skilled fighter out there hands down.
