Although I love watching the most talented and skillful boxer out there, I think he should stay retired because it gives more mystery to the world of boxing... Fighting for #2 makes things uninteresting... We need a new #1 P4P King and as long as he's still around, it ain't happening...
#1 Reason Floyd Should Stay Retired...

if hes going to do what hes done his whole career and cherry pick opponents then i think he should stay retired. we need warriors like margarito cotto pavlik miranda hatton, not businessmen like mayweather. i dont even know why many consider him #1 p4p. its debatable because he hasnt fought the best. -
Cherry Pick?
WTF, do you even watch his fights?
His prime weight was down in the 130's. He could stand there all day and do what he wants with fighters in the 130's, but he moved up to get to O$car.
For his Castillo fight: First fight he was injured, second fight Floyd fought at full capacity and it was a better fight.
You still caught up in Hatton? The same Hatton who found out moving up in weight would not be a good idea. The same Hatton who will not fight a lightweight named Floyd. The same Hatton who hugs, nut shots his way to victory?
I hate to sound hard on Hatton because I do watch his fights and do like to see him fight, but enough with his nuthugging fans.Comment

For Floyd to stay retired or not:
It would be good for Floyd if he could get a match with Hatton and beat his ass, although even if he wins I bet people, including Emanuel Stewy, will just say, "Who has Hatton beat that was young and in their prime."
Floyd will probably get no credit.
Floyd could whip Cotto and people will say, "Cotto had no chin and was one-dimensional"
Beating Shane: "Shane was Old"
So I say to Floyd, if you want to fight then FIGHT, but if you are not really up for it and are only trying to do it to shut people up then consider not coming back because those same people will continue to harp on you until you are gone. They want to see you lose and they will continue to try to push you until you are in your mid-30's when you are more likely to lose.
When you do lose you may be called "OVERRATED."
So take your money, understand that life is bigger than boxing, and say "**** YOU" to asshwholes in boxing.Comment

I dont really get your argument.Although I love watching the most talented and skillful boxer out there, I think he should stay retired because it gives more mystery to the world of boxing... Fighting for #2 makes things uninteresting... We need a new #1 P4P King and as long as he's still around, it ain't happening...
The only "mystery" that I see if he stays retired is, "what if"...but **** the mystery. Id much rather see mayweather vs cotto/hatton come to fruition than ask "what if"
especially because I think those are winnable fights for floyd.Comment

I will say this though. You guys know I think Floyd can kick everyone's ass but it depends on what Hatton means by a "catchweight". If he means like 142 or 143 then I wouldnt do it. Its far too dangerous. We all know Floyd is not a big guy but he was ripped against Oscar. Ive always say that Floyd would murder Pac but if Floyd had to fight Pac at 140 right after the Oscar fight then I would be a little scared that he will look like RJ and get KTFO. Floyd at 147 is perfect right now but he shouldnt go any lower. If Hatton is a real man then he'll move up like everyone else. He'll have to do it sooner or later. I hope he just meant 147Comment

I dont think mosley would beat floyd I know they say power the last to go but mosley only has 2kos in the five years but If he beats mosley everybody will say that hes old anyways so whats the point, I always thought winky deserved to be p4p 1, even though Im a big floyd fan. Margaritos going to be beat by williams so after that there no point in talking about that bum anymore.Comment
