Eating flush accurate punches will always ruin your gameplan, im sure Julio Cesar Chavez thought he would just walk through all of Whitaker's shots with ease and pound his body, and he found out the hard way just how hard it is to do that.

Hatton could make it a very ugly fight against Mayweather and win with his punch and hold style, but I think Floyd would use his feet and stay out of those holds, but if Hatton did it effectively and kept the pressure on Floyd than maybe, but in the end I don't know if he could.

hatton moves his head and tries to avoid shots. he doesnt just barrel in. but he will take a few to give a few back.

....Hattons head movement is the same as Chavez, which is why i referenced the fight. Hatton doesnt provide different angles, he walks right in, he throws punches from different angles to find openings, but head movement? come on.

I say Hatton has a chance.

I don't want to retype what I already said earlier today, so here it goes

            ----------------
First half of the fight, DLH was doing an OK job with his aggression.. He than tired out and abandoned the jab and everything else...

Hatton has an AMAZING work rate.. Tszyu could not keep up with him (yes an older Tszyu, but still, this is the man who ruled the division for a decade.. and had a crazy training regiment)

Hatton CAN and will apply pressure for full 12 rounds.. he throws restless and non-stop.. he can and will get inside Mayweather.. where Mayweather will be outwrestled.. and hit plenty form different angles..

IMO... while DLH is over the hill, Hatton has a good chance...

i think your overrating mayweathers power. at 147 he has only knocked out mitchell who was shot. he never hurt judah or baldomir or dlh. he left his power at 135. mayweather fears pressure and thats why hes ducked fighters like hatton and margarito the last few years.

                Talking about Styles Making Fights

                IMO:
                Mayweather beats Cotto
                Cotto beats Hatton
and Hatton has a good chance against Mayweather

Judah's face, Baldomir's face both tell the story about their fights. And you have to understand, at the upper levels of boxing knockouts are harder to come by. Did Hatton KO urango? Did he KO Collazo? No, none of that **** matters.

Im not overrating mayweathers power at all, when do i mention "knockout" i have watched enough boxing to know, BOXING, not just exciting documented fights, to know that when a pressure fighter constantly gets hit with accurate pin point punches, even if hes not being stumbled by them, it can frustrate you. Chavez got frustrated against a light punching whitaker, do you understand what im trying to tell you as opposed to striking bull**** comparisons that have nothing to do with what my original point was?

Cotto vs PBF is more interesting. Cotto has the style to shut PBF's mouth for good.
