Styles MAKE Fights....Hatton can beat PBF

doesn't mean it's a lock but if hatton fights w/ non stop pressure like castillo did 4-5 yrs ago in castillo-pbf 1, ricky can beat pbf.....
getting on top of pbf & apply constant pressure i think is the way to take him out of his game. the few times i saw him have trouble (& even get a little shook by sharmba....he admitted after the fight sharmba shook him a bit) was when he was forced to plant his feet & open up a bit....
castillo in the first fight didn't let pbf set up or breath for the most part & argueably beat pbf....
now we all know before the fight PBf is going to talk a world of crap & when the bell rings he isn't going to do half of what he says ....i said 1000x his style is to be safe & fight not to lose....BUT TO BE FARE.....as hard as hatton works in the ring, sometimes i feel like i am watching Monday Night RAW w/ all the wrestling going on.....so we have a pot shot runner & a wrestler, could be a boring fight w/ spurts of excitement if you ask me, lol
if.....IF.....hatton forces the action & pressure like castillo 1..... wouldn't be surprised if he won
By the way i have to admit hitting & holding is as bad as hitting & running.....in a way there both not exactly fan friendly or fare to guys that COME TO WIN & Come To Fight.....

I think it's very possible, Hatton at his best can beat Mayweather. I just hope he stays in shape now, so he'll be 100% when the time comes.

the hatton that beat castillo can give mayweater his first loss. no way mayweather could get hatton off him if he came charging in like that. and mayweather doesnt have the power to back hatton up. it would be ugly but i dont think most fans care as long as mayweather loses.

Hatton is a lot better than Castillo ever was, but that doesn't mean Mayweather can't adjust

hatton has good speed and he will eat every single punch mayweather throws just to get him on the ropes. he has no reason to fear mayweathers power. hatton has a good shot if the fight happens. if he cant pin mayweather to the ropes he has no hope.

Yeah, because Luis Collazo is the Earnie Shavers of the WW division and he walked right through all of his punches, right?

You guys seriously underrate PBFs pop. He doesn't knoxk people out at WW and above because he fights safety first. He wobbled DLH quite a few times, nearly stopped Judah, and stopped Mitchell. I'm unsure whether Hatton will be able to apply effective pressure to someone as fleetfooted as floyd. hatton is no gatti (that comparison is ****e), but is he quick enough to throw a lead jab or hook and get close to floyd before he's been pot shotted and PBF gets away, bagging the rounds in the process and busting Ricky up. I'm not sure.

Why do people keep on mentioning the first Castillo fight, as if Mayweather is the same fighter back then.

                  A) Floyd just turned 24 years old. He's a lot more experienced and a lot smarter in the ring then when he was back then. Also, he's just flat out better.

                  B) He fought the entire fight with a torn shoulder rotator cuff.

No mentions of how the rematch went, however? You know, when Floyd was actually healthy.

I say Mayweather will still win the fight by a split decision. Yeah Hatton will try to pressure but floyd will just use his quickness to get away. Its frustrating how floyd hardly engages but he'll probably just steal the fight away. Floyd knows that his power is not much of a factor at WW so he'll fight careful just like he did Baldomir and Judah. Floyd will just slide with a win without putting up much of a brawl like he did with De La Hoya
