these guys are getting ridicolous calling out anybody, jones jr can't make 168, trinidad sucks at middleweight and would be abused by taylor, and mayweather is too small

Felix Trinidad Returns in January 2008?

It was reported by Puerto Rican media outlet Endi, that a meeting was held last weekend between former three-division champion Felix "Tito" Trinidad and promoter Don King, discussing a return to the ring in January 2008. The meeting took place at King's Isla Verde hotel suite in San Juan, Puerto Rico. King was accompanied to the meeting by employee Dana Jamison, and his Puerto Rican assistant Juan Miguel González. Trinidad came with his father, Felix Trinidad, Sr., lawyer José Nicolas Medina, and the financial advisor and interpreter, "Pepe" Branches. [details]

I say Tito needs to do tune up fights before stepping in the ring with these guys. I say the best opponent would be Taylor.

I love tito and would rather see a tune up fight then the big fight. sparring and the real show down are two diffrent things. Tune up then fighter thats what tito needs

A win over Taylor would set up a big money rematch with the Hopkins-Wright winner, but that fight is so far off Hopkins would be close to 45 by the time Tito-Taylor would happen, lol. Oh well, it will be fun if Tito comes back, regardless.

Tito needs a tune up first. If Mayweather takes this fight then I lose all respect for him. If Trinidad is atleast as good as he was against Mayorga and fights the same Taylor that we have seen in his last two fights then he can win. As far as Roy, well I think Roy is going to lose soon enough, and this matchup is just random to me.

I'd love to see tito comeback as i was never interested in boxing when he was at his height, so if he came back it would be cool. I'd like him to fight oscar again that would be good as they may stand and fight. I would think pbf would run and box his ears off all night if they were to fight.

I think Trinidad would lose to all of them.

If Mayweather goes for Trinidad over potential fights with Cotto and Hatton, he'll get drilled by the boxing media, and rightfully so. He fought DLH on a year layoff with only one fight in 2.5 years since the Hopkins fight, and now he'd be facing Trinidad coming off a 2.5 year layoff of his own AFTER getting dominated by Winky in his previous fight. It would be an event, sure, but it is an irrelevant fight for boxing.

Tito-Taylor and PBF-Hatton/Cotto are much more exciting possibilities.
