  • Felix Trinidad Returns in January 2008?

There is an article in the Puerto Rican newspaper today that confirms Tito's meeting with Don King and King expressing those three fights, with PBF as the front runner, for a Trinidad return to the ring.

According to King, all three fighters are very interested in fighting Tito. PBF allegedly accepted Tito weighing 160 as long as he can weigh whatever he wants (probably 150).

I'd love to see a Trinidad-Taylor fight but a fight with PBF might be a running match.

He'd get pulverized by all three, that's why they all want the fight. Easy money.

Tito has wanted RJJ since before his fight against Hopkins. I dont see why in the world he would want to fight Floyd; Floyd didnt want to mix it with Oscar, he sure as hell wont mix it with Tito. And if Tito couldnt win a round against Winky, what chance does he have against a running Floyd? Taylor would be the best fight out of the three, though I'd still ove to see him against Miranda or Pavlik, preferably the later if he fights and gets by Taylor.

Gotta give him respect for not going straight for the money now and calling out Oscar. Those are three great fighters he called out, especially Taylor and possibly RJJ who can do damage.

Tito-Taylor would be phenomenal IMO. HBO could get 1 million buys with that one if JT can beat Pavlik (I think he will)...I think Tito-PBF wouldn't be as big because hardcore fans know Tito won't catch PBF as much as Oscar did, and we all saw that fight.

Tito-RJJ? What weight? RJJ can't get to 168, Tito has never fought above 160. Weird.

Tito's a clown and all he does is look for attention, it gets tiring for me. It's as if he needs to get his name in the local papers in fear that people will forget about him. Like he's jealous of all the attention Cotto's getting and he wants to comeback to steal the spotlight.

The papers are saying the PBF fight is the one Tito and Don King want more. He has no chance against Floyd, that would be a boring fight I'd never watch but hey that's the fight that will generate the most money so Don King is going to make that fight happen. I'm 90% sure he's coming back, this looks very similar to the 1st comeback where the rumors started flying and Don King came to PR to meet with him. The local channels have also confirmed his comeback through sources, I think he'll be back for sure.

He has a chance against Taylor if Taylor trades with him and RJJ is done but could be able to outbox him although Tito could always land a left hook and take RJJ out on a stretcher.

Visiting Oscar's camp and taking part in Winky's prep probably got the juices flowing. Why hate on a guy who wants to do what he loves? If he comes back, I will welcome it, no matter who the opponent. I don't want to see Tito-PBF either, but Tito-Taylor, Tito-RJJ, Tito-Oscar II, those are all at least very intriguing, high-profile fights.

Tito enough power at 175 to ko Jones? FUNNY. Not even with Triniwraps. Chance against Taylor? Funny, too.

Tito would get killed if he came back to fight any of those guys... Tito would need at least 3 to 4 good fights before even thinking of fighting these guys. Just like Roy Jones is doing he is fighting some top young prospects trying to get what he lost. Tito would need to do the same.

As much as I love Tito I would love even more to see him stay retired. I hope this doesn't happen.
