now that would be a huggathon of a fight, the two styles would be a horrible clash.

Witter is an awkward fighter to face and I'm not doubting that Hatton wouldn't win but people are saying that his next fight will be in Britain and will be an easier one. Plus a win against Witter does look good on the undefeated record.

Hatton needs to capitalize on this victory in the way Calz should've capitalized on his Lacey victory.

Hatton should move to 140lbs where the only big names are left and go after Mosley, Cotto or PBF.

as much as this fight has nothing in it for Hatton, i'd love to see Hatton ass**** this Witter over 12 rounds..no, not a first round KO, but rather a KD every single round to make the guy suffer and retire....ouch, sorry for the hatin on witter.

This fight would mean nothing to Ricky at all, and I really can not see it ever happening. As much as I would love to see Hatton give witter a hammering, it would be a pointless fight. Different leauge of fighters altogether.

I think Hatton should fight Malignaggi in New York next.

Spot on man...fighting witter is a waste of time. The belt he has was effectively given to him with chop chop being the calibre of fighter that he is...Hatton should fight Malignaggi in NY, it would sell out in minutes. Outside of that, he should move up to 147, making a rematch with Collazo the first order of business (lay that slick southpaw to rest!) then possibly go for Cotto (assuming PBF stays retired) I do think Cotto would win but you never know...what a war that would be.

if hatton fought like he did against castillo he would get probably get ko'd by witter. castillo did not have handspeed or footspeed, and in general he was shot as ****. if he came right at witter like that, im pretty sure he would get cought by a punch that he probably wont even see.

i dont know about you guys but hatton to me did not look that good even tho he got a ko won, i thought he showed too many flaws once again. but no matter which hatton comes in i see witter winning. i actually think this would be a very exciting. hattons style will give witter many opportunities to land his heavy punches from diff angles. i think these two guys are the best in the division and so to me it makes perfect sense. i doubt hatton would move up, so this is the fight that has to be made in britain.
