However, one must also respect Floyd's decision to take his time in deciding who he'll fight next. If Ricky is not being called a "ducker" than for sure, Mayweather can not be called one either.

I believe with time and Hatton increasing his weight, they may very well meet up. Me personally, I could care less. I'm indifferent about Floyd at this time.
    I see it this way.

I'm a champion. I see a dude who is knockin heads off or outboxing them...whatever. I'm like "I want this guy next." so I call him out. He admits he isn't ready for me...so I'm like "Aight son, we'll fight when you ready."

A year later or so I retire at age 30 and he hittin his prime and calls me out. I'm watchin and I say "Oh hell yeah, Ima whoop this man ass." I get up, make the call, sign the papers and that's that.....I wanted to fight him to begin with so there you go. If I say no then obviously I wasn't so eager to fight him and I was only tryna make my resume look better by fighting someone who openly stated he wasn't ready.

Floyd just don't wanna fight Hatton.

I don't know about that this seems like the biggest $ fight left for ol PBF. Retirement at 30 can get awful boring.

Lethal logically, I understand what you mean. However, understanding that once you reach a certain level in this sport, in any sport, things become a lot less about heart and more about finances. What makes sense.

See, when Hatton was denying Floyd in the past he was more up and coming. Less to lose if he lost and the money was not at a level it is now. Why not fight the best in boxing now. It makes total sense and it is a wise career move. That is what this is about. I think at this point, Floyd could care less about beating Hatton. I think he's thinking about Mosley more than Hatton.

i remember hearing floyd saying that he'll fight anyone between 140-154, so they can make the fight happen in or near 140.

offers and this and that, and failed deals this and that are a part of boxing and timing, the whole works. no one is a saint in this sport, not floyd, hatton, dlh, nobody, calzaghe, etc. the only way these guys are going to get complete respect is fighting the fights the fans want to see, sooner better than later, but i want to see the most competitive fight not just the names. so if someone needs to be prepared i want them to be prepared before fighting so there will be no excuses.

whether or not floyd made offers, what is he going to do now that he got called out and dissed like that last night???? what is his response? like i said before it if were floyd i'd say lets do it asap, i'll fight for free...................floyd wont but you know what i'm saying................this kind of drama is good for boxing.......

That doesn't make any sense. Hatton had THREE chances. He didn't want to fight Mayweather. Please explain to me what this "not being ready" **** is.

How can you even turn that around on Floyd? Hatton had is chance. Floyd is too big anyway at that weight and Hatton refused to fight at 147. Not Floyd's problem or fault.

              Flame away.

All drama is good for boxing.

I remember when Zab and Floyd fought and were acting like they hated each other. They swore it was genuine beef. Now, there are pics of them on the internet gripping each other up and seemingly very cool.

                It's just business.

He has power in both hands, but he's a genuine guy and he seems humble as hell.

                    Until he talks about Mayweather.

Win, lose, or draw, I think he would be my favorite guy in the sport if he hadn't turned Floyd down three times. For that, while I may not like watching Mayweather the most, I respect him a hell of a lot more than Hatton.

And it's not even that Hatton turned Floyd down because that's fine. If you aren't ready, you aren't ready. But to turn a guy down and continuously talk about him and call him afraid and boring, etc is complete BS to me. Now he wants to call him out again when Floyd is a junior middleweight and he's still a junior welterweight. That's nonsense. Do you really think Floyd is going to go down to 140 to fight you? Why lose that weight and put yourself at risk? Does Hatton think this will help him? History has shown that it puts you at a disadvantage if you go back down in weight, especially late in your career. If Hatton wants to go at 147, that's perfectly fine, but I don't think he wants to.

Erase that debacle from Hatton's career and he is my favorite guy no doubt. As it stands, he's much farther down the list. Such is the way of boxing.
                    Two points.

                    1) When did Hatton turn down Mayweather 3 times?
                    2) Hatton is not constantly talking **** about Mayweather, he is merely responding to questions from journalists.
