It's hard for any fighter to fight for free....no one wants to hurt their health for free....it was common knowledge that castillo wasn't going to get paid because of the nevada commision , a very corrupt mafia-like organization...castillo is paying off their $250000 penalty...which has never happen in boxing anywhere in the world....no meeting the weight happens hundreds of time each year,,,corrales didn't meet his weight vs casamayor and he didn't even get a fee or suspension like castillo...so i don't blame castillo for saying f* it...until the US form a boxing commision you are going to see the nevada commission pervert and dismantle boxing...that is the real reason fans are going to UFC ....the nevada commission is a cancer for boxing...you will not see any good fights coming from las vegas anymore...that is why margarito vs williams is in california...margarito is afraid the referee and judges would be paid off by the nevada commision

Alliberg, I generally think you're full of it. But, this time, I think you may have some good insight on this one. That's actually a pretty good excuse for Castillo, makes sense to me, why put it in a good honest day's work when he's out getting stiffed by NSAC.

It's similar to how PAC took the tko in Thailand. PAC lost his World title belt at the scales, so he put in 2 1/2 rounds and put on the worst acting job.

But, c'mon, w/ or w/o the $250,000 fine, Hatton, sooner or later would've had Castillo's head on a platter.
