De La Hoya: "Mayweather very beatable.."

Oscar De La Hoya has stated that Mayweather did not impress him when they fought on May 5th.. He said Floyd Mayweather is "very beatable" and "vulnerable to the jab."

He won't however be interested in a rematch, and wants to fight someone who is willing to stay in front and trade.. He implied Mayweather bull****ted on his promise to go toe to toe.

Oscar also commented that he suffered injury's during training camp, and was forced to take off 3 weeks prior to the bout. He contends the injury's began affecting him as early as the 3rd round against PBF.

He also said that he not only wishes to patch things up with Bob Arum - he will definately repair the relationship with Arum, and hopes to work with him on good terms in the future..

I had that thought on instinct a few days back. I could see it happening.

Something might already be up because of the way some in the GBP camp are "preserving" the luster of a potential threat from Miguel Cotto.

That would be a great fight. I'd pick oscar, i think he's to big and strong for cotto. But if it were to go into the later rounds then maybe cotto could catch oscar when his stamina's nearly gone and punish him into submission.

It's easier for him to say because he couldn't do it. Why don't he heal his injuries up give PBF a rematch use his JAB which he and many other people felt would have won him the fight. De la Hoya would lose to Cotto as well and I'm not even a Cotto fan. De la Hoya has never been able to take body shots and Cotto will kill De la Hoya's body.

For him to be considered by many to be a great fighter he sure does always have alot of excuses and complaints instead taking his losses like a man. The only 2 losses on his record he could complain about were Trinidad and the
2nd Mosley fight other than that he flat out lost all the others with no controversy.
