....You make a point, but I still didn't see the bandwagon with Mesi and he had both the American and the great white hope thing going. You didn't see the boards flooded with Mesi nuthuggers at all and he was right on the verge of being huge. Maybe the Jirov fight stole the thunder but he had done enough prior to that to become a real phenom with the public.

It's just the opposite out here in Sacto, CAl...Whenever a white is ia victor over a black...The Sacbee hides it, or worse yet, doesn't even print it...but when 2 ********** are gonna fight, or if one wins,,,,the sports section has it clearly shown..same for other sports...Those CRYBABY Williams sisters in tennis....when Sharapova, the white blonde Russian, beat Serena in Wimbleton...it was inside in a small article, as was her 2nd victory over Serena as well,, BUT when the Williams sisters even make the semis =
WOW FRONT PAGE COVERAGES...When White USA Lindsay Davenport beat Venus and Serena BOTH insucession last year, it was no where to be found, but when Serena/Venus wins= FRONT PAGE!!
